Cable Identification Methods
In connection diagrams, different cables are represented by different colors and names. Cables of the same
type are numbered according to their installation sequence. For example, video cables are numbered V1,
V2, ..., and Vn. The following table lists the cable identification methods.

NOTE
A. The network switch ports are divided into
two groups: VLAN 1 and VLAN 2.
B. Ports connected to external networks
(service networks) are grouped in VLAN 1.
These ports are numbered from 1 to 12.
C. Ports connected to internal networks are
grouped in VLAN 2. These ports are
numbered from 13 to 24.
D. The LAN 1 ports on the codec and
telepresence host are connected to the
VLAN 1 ports on the switch.
E. By default, the network wall port is
connected to port 1 on the switch.
