SAFETY REGULATIONS

This appliance may be used by children from

the age of 16 and up, and also by persons with

a physical or sensorly limitation, as well as

mentally limited persons or persons with a

lack of experience and knowledge. But only on

the condition that these persons have received

the necessary instructions on how to use this

appliance in a safe way and that they know the

dangers that can occur by using this appliance.

Children cannot be allowed to play with the

appliance.

Maintenance and cleaning of the appliance may

not be done by children, unless they are older

than 16 years old and are under supervision.

Keep the appliance out of reach of children

younger than 16 years old.

This appliance is suitable to be used in

a household environment and in similar

surroundings such as:

• Kitchen for personnel of shops, ofces or

other similar professional surroundings

• Farms

Attention: This appliance cannot be used with

an external timer or a separate remote control.

READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY

1. Place the ice cream maker on a at surface.

2. Let the ice cream maker settle for at least 3 hours before

rst use. To make sure the cool uid and the compression oil

are completely separated.

3. Never immerse the appliance, the power cord or the plug in

water or any other uid.

4. Check if the information on the rating label at the bottom

of the appliance complies with your electricity supply.

5. Never let the appliance un attended when operating.

6. Always make sure the appliance is properly cleaned after

every use.

7. Never use more ingredients than recommended in this

booklet.

8. Never drape the power cord of the appliance over the

counter top or table and make sure it doesn’t come in contact

with hot surfaces.

9. Never place the appliance near a heat source such as a hot

stove or an electrical re.

10. Don’t place the appliance to close to a wall so it has

enough circulation.

11. When you turn off the appliance after use, you always

have to wait for 5 min. before turning the appliance on again.

12. Only use the appliance indoor.

13. The appliance is for household use only, not for

professional or industrial use.

14. Unplug your appliance when not in use.

15. Always return your appliance to a service centre when it

malfunctions.

16. Never use the appliance when the cord or plug is

damaged.

USE

Leave the appliance upright and stable for 4 hours, on a stable surface, before

using it for the rst time.

1. Place the appliance on a at surface. Make sure the ventilation isn’t blocked.

Place the appliance at least 20 cm from other objects or appliances.

2. Remove the mixing hook and the ice bucket from the appliance and clean them

in soapy water before rst use. Rinse them thoroughly. Important : don’t use any

abrasive cleaners.

3. Dry the parts thoroughly.

4. Fill the ice bucket with the ingredients. All ingredients need to have a temperature

of max. 8°C.

5. Replace the ice bucket in the ice cream maker. Now place the mixing hook and

place the transparent lid on the ice cream maker. Turn the lid clockwise to lock.

6. You can add other ingredients such as caramel, raisons, chocolate, …. Liquid

ingredients such can be added very soon. Raisons or chocolate needs to be add

7. Place the motor block on top of the plastic lid. Make sure the mixing hook is very

well secured in the motor bloc.

8. Plug in the appliance.

9. Press the “power” button. On the display is shown 50: 00.

10. Select the desired freezing time by pressing the “timer” button (10,30,40 ,50), 20

cannot be selected.

11. Press the start/stop button, the appliance will start working.

12. The appliance starts mixing and the green led light comes on. After 2 min. the

appliance will start freezing en the red indication light will come on.

13. During operation, the appliance can be turned off at any time by pressing the

“start/stop” button.

14. You can also adjust the timer during operation by pressing the timer button. The

time will be increased with 5 min. at a time to a max. of 50 min.

15. The appliance switches off automatically when the set time is past. When the ice

cream isn’t solid enough you can turn the appliance back on and set the timer

again.

16. When the ice cream isn’t removed from the appliance after 10 min. The appliance

will automatically start freezing again with pauses of 10 min. To prevent the ice

cream from melting. This up to a max. of 1 hour.

17. When you want to remove the ice from the ice cream maker, press the “power”

button. The appliance turns off. Unplug the appliance.

18. Remove the motor bloc and the transparent lid by turning it counter clockwise.

19. Take out the ice bucket and remove the ice cream with a wooden or plastic spoon.

Don’t use any metal objects. Put the ice cream in a holder with lid, suitable for

the freezer. Put the ice cream in the freezer and let it set for about 3 hours before

serving it.

PREPARATION OF ICE CREAM

1. Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix them thoroughly. Don’t mix the ingredients

directly in the ice bucket to prevent damage. If possible use ingredients directly from

the fridge.

After placing the ingredients in your ice cream maker, you can have soft ice cream

after 20-40 min. The freezing time depends on your own taste, the ingredients and the

amount of ice cream. Always make sure only to use cooled ingredients.

Never use the ice bucket to safe your ice cream in the freezer.

Tips : Always clean thoroughly all ingredients which come in contact with the

ingredients. Only use fresh ingredients to prepare your ice cream.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.

Clean the outside and the motor with a soft cloth, if necessary with a bit of detergent.

Never clean the accessories in the dishwasher. Wash the ice bucket, the mixing hook

and the transparent lid in hot soapy water. Rinse them hot water and dry thoroughly.

Never use abrasive cleaners, steel wool or scrub sponge.

RECIPES

ICE CREAM (COLD PREPARATION)

3 ½ dl milk – 150g sugar – 2 dl cream – 3 egg yolks – dash of salt

Mix the egg yolks and sugar with a mixer to a creamy substance. Add the cream

and milk. Mix everything while adding a bit of salt. Put the mixture in the ice cream

maker.

Time : +/- 30 min.

ICE CREAM ( WARM PREPARATION)

3 ½ dl milk – 150g sugar – 2 dl cream – 3 egg yolks – dash of salt

Mix the egg yolks and sugar with a mixer to a creamy substance. Add the cream and

milk and heat the mixture up to boiling point, but don’t let it boil. When the foam

becomes rm, there will be a yellow cream on top. Take the mixture of the re and let

it cool down. Add the mixture in the ice cream maker.

Time : +/- 30 min.

VANILLA ICE CREAM

1 vanilla stick – 3 egg yolks – 3 ½ dl milk – 2 dl cream – 150g sugar

Wash the vanilla stick and slice it lengthwise, so the aroma can spread better in the

mixture. Mix the milk and cream, add the vanilla stick to it and heat it up. Take it off

the re as soon as it boils. Let it cool. Mix the egg yolk and the sugar, add the milk/

cream mixture, after removing the vanilla stick. Heat it up again, but without boiling

it. When the mixture start to set, take it of the re and let it cool down. Filter the

mixture and add it in the ice cream maker.

Time : +/- 30 min.

CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM

150g sugar – 150g cacao or pure chocolate – 3 egg yolks – 2 dl milk – 2 dl cream

– 1little bag vanilla sugar

Melt the chocolate (or mix the cacao) in a bit of milk and than make ice cream

according to the discription “ice cream warm preparation). Add the melted chocolate

or cacoa. Mix everything and let it cool down. Add it in the ice cream maker.

Time : +/- 30 min.

MOKKA ICE CREAM

2 cups very strong coffee (or 2 table spoons instant coffee) – 1 table spoon cacao – 2

egg yolks – 150g sugar – 2 dl cream – 3 dl milk

Make ice cream according to the description “ice cream cold preparation.” At the end

of the mixture add the cacao and the coffee. Mix everything thoroughly and add it in

the ice cream maker.

Time : +/- 20 min.

ICE CREAM FROM WILD FRUITS (blue berries, strawberries, raspberries)

400g fruit of choice – egg white of 1 egg – 100g sugar – 1 dl milk – 1 dl cream

– (lemon juice)

Mix the fruit, sugar and cream. When everything is properly mixed, add the milk, the

batter egg white and to your liking a bit of lemon juice. Add the mixture to the ice

cream maker.

Time : +/- 20 min.

LEMON ICE

4 lemons – 150g sugar – 2 dl milk 2 dl cream

squeeze the lemons, mix the juice with the sugar and add the milk and cream. Mix

everything thoroughly and add it in the ice cream maker.

Time : +/- 20 min.

FRUIT SORBET

400-500g fruit (of choice) – 1 dl water – 100 g sugar

Mix the fruit, add the sugar and the water ( if necessary strain it) en add everything in

the ice cream maker.

Time : +/-20 min.

LEMON SORBET

1 egg white – 2 dl lemon juice –200g sugar – 3 dl water

Peel 2 lemons, without the white under the skin. Let the skin soak in the 3 dl water for

about 30 min. Strain the water and the lemon juice. Mix this uid together with the

sugar and the egg white. Add this mixture in the ice cream maker.
