2. About the Product
This product is a 3.5-Inch form factor industrial mainboard which based on Intel® Whiskey Lake-U
Processor Coreâ„¢ i3-8145UE with Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 (4 languages) supported.
The industrial-grade GMB-L3WHL200, with size of 146mm x 102mm, has high computing power,
triple-display capability, and various expansion slots make it well-suited for factory automation,
intelligent transportation, digital signage, self-service kiosks, and medical applications.
The GMB-L3WHL200 supports one 260-pin DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM socket for up to 16GB of memory.
To meet customer various needs, it also equipped with one Full-sized Mini PCIe slot, M.2 M key with
mSATA support, and M.2 E key with SIM socket. In addition, it utilizes Intel UHD graphics 620 to
provide and feature triple-display capability through HDMI, DisplayPort and LVDS interfaces which
enable multi-display in a limited space.
Moreover, it has one RS-232/422/485 port, three RS-232 ports, two gigabit ethernet ports with Intel
i219LM and i210AT controllers, four USB3.2 ports, two USB2.0 ports, audio interface(Mic-in, Line-in,
and Mic-out), one 16-bit GPIO port, one HDMI, one DisplayPort, and one LVDS port. GMB-L3WHL200
can operates in temperature range from 0°C to 60°C and has +12~24V DC power supply input.

âš« Always check that the power supply is turned off before connecting or disconnecting power

âš« Always turn off the power before inserting or removing circuit boards or cables.
âš« This product is not intended for use in aerospace, space, nuclear power, medical equipment,
or other applications that require a very high level of reliability. Do not use the product in
such applications.
âš« If using this product in applications where safety is critical such as in railways, automotive, or
disaster prevention or security systems, please contact your retailer.
âš« Do not attempt to replace the battery as inappropriate battery replacement poses a risk of
explosion.
âš« For battery replacement, contact your retailer as it must be performed as a process of repair.
âš« When disposing of a used battery, follow the disposal procedures stipulated under the
relevant laws and municipal ordinances. For details on replacing the battery, refer to the
appendix.

1) Battery – The internal calendar clock and CMOS RAM are backed by a Lithium primary battery.

* This product’s specifications allow the device to be rebooted from the BIOS screen during
startup. This has no effect on operation after the OS boots.

3. Security Warning
When connecting to the network, be aware of security-related problems. See the examples of
Security measures below and set up the product properly along with the network devices.
1. Information security risks
âš« Unauthorized access from the outside through a network could cause the system halt, data
damage, or exposure to malware. *1
âš« Invaded and used as a stepping stone, a device might attack the others through networks. (a
victim becomes an assailant)
âš« Information might leak without realizing due to the connection to the network.
âš« Secondary damages such as harmful rumors, liability in damages, social credibility fall, and
opportunity loss are expected led by the troubles described above.

2. Security measures – e.g.
âš« Do not keep using the default password. (Refer to the product manual for the password
setting).
âš« Set a strong password.
Combined with upper and lowercase letters, and numbers so that it cannot be easily
analogized by others.

âš« Disable unnecessary network services and functions.
âš« Restrict access to the network with network devices. *2
