IMPORTANT

These instructions should be read carefully and left with the user of the product

BEFORE USE
Inspect the product for signs of damage. If the product is damaged, DO NOT
use it, and contact your supplier immediately.
PRODUCT SAFETY
Splash proof only, do not submerse in water.
Use only the correctly rated and type of battery.
DO NOT mix new and used batteries as this will affect the battery life.
Observe correct polarity when fitting batteries.
DO NOT point directly at any person who is closer than 3.5m (10ft)
from the megaphone and always adjust the volume to the conditions.
FITTING BATTERIES
To fit the batteries first release the battery compartment by pushing the catch in
at the rear of the handle and open cover.
Insert 6 x D type batteries into the body, observing the correct polarity as
indicated on the inside of the cover and battery compartment.

OPERATION
The P637C megaphone can be used as a megaphone or Siren or MP3 sound
files can be played through the USB/SD Card input as well as from a music
device direct to the AUX port. Before use turn the volume to its minimum
position and increase as necessary. Never start with the volume at the max
level;
1. To use as a conventional megaphone the Siren/Speech button should
be OUT and the ON/OFF button should be ON (IN). The LED
indicators will illuminate. Hold the megaphone securely and speak into
the microphone. Adjust the volume as necessary. To stop push the
ON/OFF button to turn off the unit.
2. The P637B can be used as a siren, to do so push the Speech/Siren
button IN and then push the ON button. The siren will continue till the
ON/OFF or Talk/Siren buttons are switched to the OFF position. The
volume of the siren can be adjusted using the volume slider.
3. MP3 or sound files can be played through the megaphone inputs. To
play MP3 files the SDCard or USB storage device must be formatted
as FAT (NTFS formatted drives will not work). To play MP3’s insert
the drive/card into the correct slot, the unit will automatically read the
files, if the correct format of file is found the LED Indicator will flash
and the unit will play the first listed file. You can pause, play and
advance/skip back using the MP3 control buttons. The volume of the
playback can also be adjusted by holding in the button marked + for
higher or - for lower volume. An MP3 playback device can be used to
play files through the AUX input. Connect the MP3 device to the

megaphone using a 3.5mm Stereo Jack to 3.5mm Stereo Jack lead.
The music cannot be controlled from the MP3 control panel although
the volume may still be adjusted by holding down the skip forward,
back buttons.

You must not dispose of this unit with domestic household waste.
Most local authorities have specific collection system for electrical items and
disposal is free of charge to the end-user.
