1. Overview
1. 1 This specification define MONITOR SET control commands for UK5 chassis products
communicating with LD-Net.
1. 2 These control commands are originally developed for the communication with LD-Net, but also
can be used to control a MONITOR SET through RS-232C from a PC. These commands are
called “Expanding serial commands”.

3. Notes for Communication
3.1 The MONITOR SET command is defined one command/one line that starts with “C” and ends
with carriage return (0x0D).
3.2 There are two types of commands, Functional Execution Commands and Status Read
Commands.
[Example of Functional execution command]
“CF_BRIGHT_032” [CR]
Note : “_” indicates space
[Example of Status Read Commands]
Functional Execution Command: CR_RIGHT” [CR]
3.3 When it takes more than one second to receive one command, the function is not executed.
When it takes more than one second until the MONITOR SET receives carriage return since it
has received the first data “C”, it clears the information of buffer.
3.4 The sequential commands transmission, the intervals of 100m seconds and more is needed.
3.4.1 When a command is delivered before returning [ACK], the command may be ignored.
3.5 It takes about 5 seconds
for initial set-up until turns to stand by condition after AC power line
connected. During the time, set will not accept commands. So don’t send any command.

The data respond from the monitor to controller is called the status.
4.2 [CR] 󲔹 Carridge return code
The carried return cod is indicating the end of the command. It also added on the end of the
status.
4.3 󲔹 Space code
The space code is spelled underscore such as 󲔧 _ 󲔨
4.4 󲔤󲔰 󲔹 Parameter including in the command.
If there are multiple parameters, it is noted as %2, %3.
4.5 󲔤󲔤󲔤 󲔹 Indicating response error code.
Respond without error. It appears “000”.
The number indicating error number refer to 󲔶󲔭Error code.
