standard 3/8" connector.Itallowsfreeandprecisehorizontal and vertical movements.
Assembly
Firstpul lthetripodlegsoffbyl ooseningthelockingscrewsonthelegs andthecentercolumn(if
applicable)andlockingtheminasuita bleheight.Thenpositionthelower, cylindricalpartofthe
centermountandscrewthetripod's3/8"screwintothethreadinthefootofthece ntermount.
Afterwardsyou caninserttheshaftintothelowerpart.Nowfitthebinocularstripodadapterat
thebottomofthebridgetothecenter mountarmandtightenthescrew.Thenpushthetwo
suppliedeye piecesintotheeyepi ecerecept acles,clampthemfirml ywiththesmallerofthet wo
ringsatthereceptacle.Thenset theappropriateinterpupillary distancebyusingthef lutedlevers
atthe receptaclesandpushtheeyepiecesapartortogetheruntiltheyareat therightdistance.The
distance issetc orrectly,assoonasarelaxedviewthroughtheglas sispossible.Thereafter,the
binocularsarepreparedforobservation.
Focusing
TheAPMTelesc opesAPObinocularshaveasocal ledsingleeyepiecef ocussystem.Thisgives
youtheopportunitytos etthef ocusindividuallyforeacheye.All youneedtodo istofocusone
eyepiecebyturningthefocusing ring,thatisthewiderofthetworings,untiltheimageissharp.
