Thefollowinginstructionshavebeenadaptedfromthe
ANSI/OPEIandISOstandards.
Preparation
Neverattempttomakeanyadjustmentswhiletheengine
isrunning,exceptwhenspecicallyrecommendedby
Toro.
Theoperationofanypoweredmachinecanresultin
foreignobjectsbeingthrownintotheeyes.Alwayswear
eyeprotectionduringoperationorwhileperformingan
adjustmentorrepair.
Operation
Donotputhandsorfeetnearorunderrotatingparts.
Exerciseextremecautionwhenoperatingonorcrossing
graveldrives,walks,orroads.Stayalertforhidden
hazardsortrafc.Donotcarrypassengers.
Afterstrikingaforeignobject,stoptheengine,thoroughly
inspecttheattachmentforanydamage,andrepairthe
damagebeforestartingandoperatingtheattachment.
Iftheunitshouldstarttovibrateabnormally,stopthe
engineandcheckimmediatelyforthecause.Vibrationis
generallyawarningoftrouble.
Stoptheenginewheneveryouleavetheoperatingposition
andwhenmakinganyrepairs,adjustments,orinspections.
Whencleaning,repairing,orinspecting,stoptheengine
andensurethatallmovingpartshavestopped.

attachment,stoptheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostop.
Donotwearloosettingclothingthatcouldgetcaught
inmovingparts.
Ifashield,safelydevice,ordecalisdamaged,illegible,or
lost,repairorreplaceitbeforebeginningoperation.Also,
tightenanyloosefasteners.
Performonlythosemaintenanceinstructionsdescribed
inthismanual.Beforeperforminganymaintenance,

Operation
Note:Alwaysusethetractionunittoliftandmovethe
attachment.
Important:Beforeinstallingthebucket,ensurethatthe
mountplatesarefreeofanydirtordebrisandthatthe
pinsrotatefreely.Ifthepinsdonotrotatefreely,grease
them.
Beforeinstallingorremovingthebucket,positionthe
machineonalevelsurface.
RefertoyourtractionunitOperator’sManualformore
informationoninstallingandremovingthebucketfromyour
tractionunit.
Whenloadingmaterial,alwayshavethebucketleveltothe
ground,movingforwardintothematerialtobelifted.When
thebucketisfull,tiltitgentlyrearwardtodecreasethelifting
resistancewhenyoulifttheload.
Whentransportingaload,keepthebucketasclosetothe
groundaspossible.

begroundsfordisallowingawarrantyclaim.

productoperationinclude,butarenotlimitedto,belts,wipers,spark
plugs,tires,lters,gaskets,wearplates,seals,O-rings,drivechains,
clutches.
Failurescausedbyoutsideinuence.Itemsconsideredtobeoutside
inuenceinclude,butarenotlimitedto,weather,storagepractices,
contamination,useofunapprovedcoolants,lubricants,additives,or
chemicals,etc.
Normal“wearandtear”items.Normal“wearandtear”includes,butis
notlimitedto,wornpaintedsurfaces,scratcheddecals,etc.

NeitherTheToroCompanynorToroWarrantyCompanyisliablefor
indirect,incidentalorconsequentialdamagesinconnectionwiththe
useoftheToroProductscoveredbythiswarranty,includingany
costorexpenseofprovidingsubstituteequipmentorserviceduring
reasonableperiodsofmalfunctionornon-usependingcompletionof
repairsunderthiswarranty.Allimpliedwarrantiesofmerchantability
andtnessforusearelimitedtothedurationofthisexpresswarranty.
Somestatesdonotallowexclusionsofincidentalorconsequential
damages,orlimitationsonhowlonganimpliedwarrantylasts,sothe
aboveexclusionsandlimitationsmaynotapplytoyou.
Thiswarrantygivesyouspeciclegalrights,andyoumayalsohaveother
