Care & Maintenance
Draining
Portable ACs need to be drained from time to time. To drain your portable AC, follow these instructions:
Step 1. Unplug unit from all power sources.
Step 2. Place empty container under drain.
Step 3. Remove drain plug.
Step 4. Allow water to drain from unit.
Note: Environments with higher humidity may require you to drain your AC more frequently.
Cleaning Air Filter
To ensure your unit is in its best cooling condition, clean or replace the lter as needed. To clean, slide the lter out of unit and
immerse in warm water. Use a mild detergent to remove dirt, particles, and pollutants. Allow lter to completely dry before
placing back in unit.
Seasonal Storage
Proper storage of this product helps protect against wear and damage. When you have nished using your portable AC,
DELLA suggests:
• Unplugging unit from power source.
• Draining unit of all remaining condensation.
• Covering unit with plastic sheet to protect from dust and debris.
• Storing unit in cool, dry place.
It is important that you not subject your unit to extreme temperatures — freezing and excessive heat — as it can take a toll on
the working parts. Instead of putting it in a garage or attic space, it is recommended to keep it in an area that has a controlled
temperature, such as a storage closet.
