3 REGULAR MAINTENANCE IS KEY
Daily spot cleaning is recommended to keep dirt and grime from building
up in your home.
The range of convenient, quick-clean products from Shark is guaranteed to
help you keep a clean and sanitized* home.
** TIP: First time users may experience some streaking or clouding after the
initial use. This may be the result of your Steam Mop removing residue from
chemicals and polishes previously used on your floors. With regular use these
effects will diminish. For more stubborn cases, you may need to rinse the floor
with a mix of one part vinegar and two parts water. Remember, a clean mop
pad is essential for residue removal.
WARNING: Your Steam Mop is designed to clean hard floor surfaces that will
withstand high heat. Do not use on unsealed wood or unglazed ceramic floors.
On surfaces that have been treated with wax or some no wax floors, the sheen may
be removed by the heat and steam action. It is always recommended to test an
isolated area of the surface to be cleaned before proceeding. We also recommend
that you check the use and care instructions from the floor manufacturer.
2 Fit the microfiber cleaning pad on the
mop head. (Fig. 2)
4 Open the water tank cap, fill the tank with water, then replace and tighten the cap. (Fig. 4)
NOTE: We recommend using distilled water to prolong the life of your Steam Mop.

flashing blue. This will stop the unit from steaming without shutting it off. Remember to
never leave a damp steam mop in one spot for an extended period of time.
