1. This appliance is only suitable for private household use and it is
not designed for commercial purpose.
2. Danger of electric shock! Do not attempt to repair the
appliance yourself. In case of malfunction, repairs are to be
conducted by qualified personnel only.
3. Warning! Do not immerse the electrical parts of the appliance
in water or other liquids. Never hold the appliance under running
water.
4. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance
and its cord out of reach of children.
5. This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and if they
understand the hazards involved.
6. Children shall not play with the appliance.
7. Danger of burns! Do not use the appliance during the cooking
process, with boiling liquids or hot fat.
8. Regularly check the power plug and power cord for damage.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a danger or injury.
9. Danger of injury! Care shall be taken when handling the sharp
cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
10. Always disconnect the appliance from the mains if it is left
unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
11. Switch o the appliance and disconnect from the mains before
changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
12. Never use accessories which are not recommended by the
manufacturer. They could pose a safety risk to the user and
might damage the appliance. Only use original parts and
accessories.

13. Do not continuously operate the appliance for too long to avoid
overheating the motor. The continuous operation time must not
exceed the processing guide given in the instruction manual. Let
the appliance cool down if the appliance housing becomes too
hot.
14. Never add ingredients to the container while the appliance is
operating.
15. Never let the blade face towards anybody while operating the
appliance.
16. Do not touch the blade, blade guard and moving parts. Keep
fingers, hair, clothing and utensils away from all moving parts.
17. During operation, keep hands and utensils out of the container
to reduce the risk of severe personal injury and/ or damage
to the blender. Only use a scraper when the appliance is not
running.
18. Use the product only for its intended purpose and with
recommended accessories and components. Improper use or
wrong operation may lead to hazards.
19. Clean the product and all other accessories after each use.
20. Follow the instructions in the chapter Cleaning and care.
25. To avoid damaging the cord, do not
squeeze, bend or chafe it on sharp edges.
Keep it away from hot surfaces and open
flames as well. Do not let rotating blades
touch the power cord.
26. Lay out the cord in such a way that no
unintentional pulling or tripping over it is
possible.
27. If an extension cord is used, its capacity
needs to be suitable for the power
consumed by the appliance.
28. Do not operate the appliance with wet
hands or while standing on a wet floor. Do
not touch the power plug with wet hands.
21. Observe all safety instructions to avoid
damage through improper use!
22. Keep this instruction manual for future
use. Should this appliance be passed on to
a third party, then this instruction manual
must be included.
23. Before connecting the appliance to the
power supply, check that the power supply
voltage and current rating corresponds with
the power supply details shown on the
appliance rating label.
24. Never use a damaged appliance!
Disconnect the appliance from the
electrical outlet and contact your retailer if
it is damaged.

product. Please read this manual carefully and
keep it for future reference.
Intended use
The appliance is exclusively intended to mix
and blend foodstus. This appliance is only
suitable for private household use and it is
not designed for commercial purpose. Every
other type of use can lead to damage to the
appliance or injury.
Before first use
• Remove all packaging materials.
• Check for completeness and transport
damage. In case of damages or incomplete
delivery please contact your dealer.
• Clean the appliance ( Cleaning and care).

29. Do not open the appliance casing under any
circumstances. Do not insert any foreign
objects into the inside of the casing.
30. Keep the appliance away from any hot
surfaces and open flames. Always operate
the appliance on a level, stable, clean and dry
surface. Protect the appliance against heat,
dust, direct sunlight, moisture, dripping and
splashing water.
31. Do not place heavy objects on top of the
appliance. Do not place objects with open
flames, e.g. candles, on top of or beside the
appliance. Do not place objects filled with
water, e.g. vases, on or near the appliance.
32. Do not pull the power plug out of the
electrical outlet by the power cord and
do not wrap the power cord around the
appliance.
33. Connect the power plug to an easily
reachable electrical outlet so that in case
of an emergency the appliance can be
unplugged immediately. Pull the power plug
out of the electrical outlet to completely
switch o the appliance. Use the power plug
as the disconnection device.
34. Disconnect the power plug from the
electrical outlet when not in use and before
cleaning.
35. If the power cord should overheat, stop
using the appliance and disconnect the
appliance from the electrical outlet.
36. Do not place the appliance on hot plates
(gas, electric, coal cooking range, etc.). Keep
the appliance away from hot surfaces and
open flames. Always operate the appliance
on a level, stable, clean, heat-resistant and
dry surface.
37. Never leave the appliance unattended
during use.
38. Dry the appliance and all accessories before
connecting to the power supply and prior to
attaching the accessories.

Blending
Suitable for: Blending juices and shakes,
mixing soft ingredients, pureeing cooked
ingredients.

Mount the motor unit on the hand blender.

To do so, align the motor unit’s icon
with the blender’s icon.

Rotate the blender in a clockwise
direction until it clicks in place (now
and icons are aligned).

Connect the plug to a suitable outlet.

Fill foodstu into the measuring cup.
Observe the maximum marking on the
measuring cup.
Dip the blender bar as deeply as possible
into the ingredients. Work through the
ingredients by moving the appliance
gently up and down.
Hold the blender vertically. Tilting it
might lead to splashing foodstu.

Set the desired speed selection. Press
and hold speed button I. Turbo can be
achieved by pressing and holding speed
button II.

After use: Release the speed button
and disconnect the plug.

The anti-skid mat can be used as a lid to
cover the measuring cup when storing it
inside the fridge.
Attention
Always ensure the appliance is disconnected
from the power supply before it is fully and
correctly assembled!
Danger of hand injury! Handle the blade
with care as it is very sharp!
Never use your hands to reach into the food
container. Always use wooden or plastic
spatulas, and only when the hand blender is
not running.
Do not use this appliance for processing
ice, hot liquids, heavy batter/dough, or hard
foods.
Pre-cut the food into small and even pieces
Note
When pureeing food, make sure to use enough
liquid (juice, milk, etc.) to obtain a smooth
mixture. Adjust the consistency of the mixture
by adding more liquid or soft solids

The processing speed corresponds to
the setting of the speed control. Rotate
stepless speed control to adjust the
speed. The higher the setting, the faster
the blending results.
Maximum speed can be achieved by
pressing the speed button II (Turbo).

Warning
Make sure that no moisture is entering the
appliance during cleaning.
Never immerse the motor unit in water or
other liquids.

Cleaning the hand blender
attachment: Wash the blending bar
under running water. Make sure that
no liquid enters the hollow shaft. Dry
thoroughly.
• Wash all other parts in warm soapy water,
then rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Never use corrosive detergents, wire
brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp
implements to clean your appliance.
• Dry the appliance thoroughly after cleaning.
• Store the appliance in a cool, dry location,
away from children and pets.
Disposal
The crossed-out wheeled bin logo
requires the separate collection of waste
electric and electronic equipment (WEEE).
Electric and electronic equipment may contain
dangerous and hazardous substances. Do not
dispose of this appliance as unsorted municipal
waste.
Return it to a designated collection point for
the recycling of WEEE. By doing so, you will
help to conserve resources and protect the
environment. Contact your retailer or local
authorities for more information.
