QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Q4: The sound often cuts out/gets staticky.
A:
Pls check whether it has connected to multiple Bluetooth devices
in your iPhone Bluetooth settings, such as the car Bluetooth,
wireless earbuds, since multiple bluetooth devices connection will
cause the signal interference.
You can try to forget all the Bluetooth devices in your iPhone's
Bluetooth setting, and pair the 'smartBox-xxxx' again.
After CarPlay entering to the driving mode, all the Bluetooth
devices(including smartBox-xxxx Bluetooth device) on the
iPhone should show ‘not connected’, as attached image.
Q5: It always jump to the carplay interface in my Maverick,
is this normal?I want to get it to my Ford factory screen.
A:
You can wait for the auto-connection to the
CarPlay interface, and press the home/ford icon
on the screen(as attached 'Ford CarPlay
interface'), then it can revert back to the factory
radio screen.
Or the other way is to remove the wireless
adapter, then it can be back to the factory radio.
I'm so sorry that the current carplay settings of
Maverick are in the same standard, and most of
the wireless carplay adapter/wired carplay
connection are facing the same issues as well.
The autobox adapter has connected to the USB
data port of your car just like an iPhone keep plug
in the USB port for using carplay, and surely it will
jump to the carplay interface once you start the
engine.
