Safety Guidelines
Use genuine factory parts or parts
with equivalent characteristics, includ-
ing type, strength, and material. Fail-
ure to do so may result in product mal-
function and possible injury to the op-
erator and/or others.
If hardware is not secure, or if some of
the hardware is over-tightened, equip-
ment failure may result, posing poss-
ible safety hazards.
To prevent possible eye injury, always
wear SAFETY GLASSES while oper-
ating equipment.
Replace locknuts and locking screws if
you can tighten them without feeling
considerable resistance for several
turns before they are completely tight.
Replace them with factory authorized
parts or their equivalent.
Gasoline
SAFETY WARNING!
Gasoline is extremely ammable and can
be highly explosive.
Always use an approved container for
gasoline.
Do not allow open ames or sparks
while performing maintenance or refu-
eling.
Never remove the fuel tank cap or add
gasoline when the engine is running or
while it is hot.
Never ll the fuel tank indoors (fumes
can collect).
Wipe up spilled gasoline immediately
and completely.
Do not store gasoline in a room with
an appliance that has a pilot light to
where electrical appliances or switch-
es may cause sparks.
Always store gasoline outside, in a
safety can (a can which has a ame
arrestor and pressure relief valve in
pour spout).
Gasoline fumes are heavy and will
sink to the lowest point, collecting and
becoming more and more hazardous.
1 part gasoline in 20 parts air will ex-
plode easily and violently.
Never store the equipment with gaso-
line in the tank inside a building where
fumes may reach an open ame or
spark. Allow the engine to cool before
storing in any enclosure.
Be certain to provide adequate ventila-
tion if an engine must be run indoors -
exhaust fumes are dangerous.
Guards & Shields
Keep all safety devices in place.
Replace all worn, damaged, unusable,
missing or lost safety shields and
guards before operating the equip-
ment.
Keep the equipment in good operating
condition.
Safety Decals
If safety related or instructional decals
become illegible or are removed, re-
place them immediately. New decals
may be obtained from your local Harp-
er Dealer.
If you replace parts that have such
decals attached to them, make sure
the decals are replaced with current
versions, and are on the replacement
parts before the machine is operated
again.

SAFETY WARNING!
Wear approved eye and ear protec-
tion while operating the machine.
Keep all guards in place during
operation.
Before operating the machine,
check to ensure that all the belt
guides and snubbers are in place,
to prevent belts from slipping off
the pulleys and systems from being
accidentally engaged.
Check for any foreign objects
before operating.
Periodically clean material away
from engines to ensure proper
function.
To begin operation:
Prime the primer bulb until it is rm.
- Be sure that the choke is on for
the rst turn over.
Remove the choke and throttle to
maximum.
Turn over the machine.
Engage the the tensioner with the
handle lever and lock it in.

Adjusting the Hose Assist
Properly having the hose assist attached to
the inlet hose will prevent most hose clogs
from happening and maximize the Multi-
Loader’s performance by keeping the hose
straight and perpendicular to the housing.
Adjustments for the hose assist are made
by moving up or down a link at a time on the
chain via the carabiner.
Clogged Hose
Even though an operator has adjusted the
hose assist properly, the hose may still be-
come clogged at some point. To unclog the
hose, begin by straightening the inlet hose
out directly behind where it attaches to the
unit to dislodge the clog. If it still isn’t clear,
turn off the machine and wait for the impeller
to come to a complete stop. Then, remove
the hose from the machine and clear the
debris by hand.
SAFETY WARNING!
The debris may be sharp. Be sure to use
appropriate gloves when clearing debris
from the hose or from the housing/impel-
ler.
The primary types of debris are light lawn de-
bris such as leaves and mulch or light plastic/
paper products.
SAFETY WARNING!
Larger or heavier objects have the ability
to cause damage to the machine and/or to
the operator.
Clogged Housing or Outlet Spout
1. Turn unit off and wait for the impeller to
come to a complete stop.
2. Remove the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the hose and determine where
the clog is located.
4. If the clog is in the housing/impeller, re-
move the clog and reassemble. If not, con-
tinue with 5.
5. If the clog is in the outlet spout, remove
the (8) bots holding the outlet on and take it
off.
SAFETY WARNING!
The outlet spout is heavy. Do not stand
under the spout while removing it.
6. Remove clog from from spout and reat-
tach with the previously mentioned bolts.
Check to make sure that all that was re-
moved from the machine is reassembled and
tightened before resuming operation.
9. Reconnect the negative battery cable and
resume operation.
Adjusting the Belt Tensioner Handle
As the belt stretches with use and time, the
owner can addjust the height of the belt ten-
sioner handle to increase resistance on the
belt by using the
two bolt system
shown in the
picture to the
right.

Towing/Transport
When readying for transport, wrap the inlet
hose around the side of the machine and rest
it on the front bungie bracket and attach the
bungie around the hose. There is a second
bungie bracket on the side to better secure
the hose for transport as well. Lastly, there is
a pin that locks the hose assist arm in place
so that it cannot swing/move while being
towed.
