Care and Use Manual – H-Burner Kits

The H-Burner kit is intended to be used with Natural Gas in an indoor vented fireplace. Please

ensure the gas is shut off at the valve before installing this kit as well as when the kit is not in

use. Do not use this burner kit without installing the damper clamp. The included damper clamp

is an important feature as it prevents the flue from being closed and allows ventilation for your

fireplace.

When adding fire glass to your H Burner, add glass over the burner first, then the surrounding

area in the fireplace. Fire glass can cover the H burner, but the depth of the glass above the

burner should not exceed one inch (1”). Fire glass is heat resistant in standard gas fireplaces

under normal heat conditions. Never add wet fire glass but ensure any glass is fully dried before

burning.

Should you need to clean your fireplace or fire glass, a 50/50 mix of water and vinegar can be

used. But all components and glass pieces must be dried completely before using the fireplace

again.
