Setting Time of Day:

Press red button and rotate largest spin wheel (with serrated edges) until the current time is displayed

in the “time of day” window.

Setting Backwash Frequency:

The 12 day timer comes with all 12 pins pushed inward.

To indicate the days you want to backwash, simply push that particular pin outward from the center.

The industry standard is for every 3 days. That will result in the 1,4,7 and 10 pins being pushed out.

The red arrow indicates what day you are currently on in that 12 day cycle.

Final Steps:

Once your control valve is set to run, clip the stainless steel bypass to the inlet/outlet.

Next, turn the central dial clockwise into backwash and slightly turn the bypass valve into service. After

a few minutes you can fully open the bypass valve into service.

This helps maintain a controlled ow of water into your media tank. Once your tank is fully saturated,

turn the central dial back to in service.
