Step 03. Adjust
Your baby is now securely strapped in your Pao Papoose™, but the
carrier is likely to require some minor adjustments.
1. Using both hands, reach behind you and gently tighten each
shoulder strap adjuster until each one is identical in length. Aim for
the shoulder straps to be tight enough to give maximum support so
your baby doesn’t change position when you move, but not too tight
that you can’t breathe deeply.
2. Use the perfect-fit adjusters to bring baby slightly closer. They
should be adjusted evenly on both sides.
3. And finally, make minor adjustments to the upper surface-
mounted buckles for further contouring. Do not allow these to fully
extend.
Please note. Remember to ensure that the waistband is positioned
quite high up (mid-chest for men and under the breasts for women).
This supports the ergonomically correct sitting position for baby.
(See M position on page 7.)
Do not strap baby too tight against your body and make sure that
there is sufficient ventilation for the baby at all times.
Okay, now go for it.
Step 04. Remove
Release the upper surface-mounted
buckles on each side. Remove the
shoulder straps from each shoulder
and allow the inner side of the
papoose to hang down in front, while
supporting baby. Now place your
baby somewhere safe so you can
release the waistband.
