INSTALLATION
Important: The installation should be carried out by qualified personal only, according to the
regulations for electrical and mechanical safety in your country.
The LD-BAR12TC should be fixed on a non-flammable flat surface. For example you can fix the unit against
a wall using adapted screws. The orientation is not important but make sure that enough ventilation is
available.
! VERY IMPORTANT – READ IT BEFORE YOU CALL FOR HELP !
• This projector is only intended for use with the compatible LD-POWER power supplies: for
installation details and setup please also read the user manual for the LD-POWER power supply!
• Make sure the LD-POWER power supply is not connected to the mains during installation and
wiring!
• Make sure that the maximum load per LED output zone on the LD-POWER is not exceeded: this
means that only 1 LD-BAR 12TC can be connected to each RJ45-output of the power supplies!
• The maximum cable length between the LD-POWER output and all connected projectors is
80meters!
Electrical installation LED projector outputs:
The passive LED projectors from our LD-series use CAT5e cables and RJ45 connectors to connect them to
the LD-POWER power supplies. You can use our standard cables (“LD-PATCH RJ45”, available in different
lengths) but you can also make your own cables with CAT5e cable and RJ45 connectors you can buy from
any computer shop. However we like to warn you that
making your own cables is not easy and requires special
tools and some experience! The cables should be wired
1:1 (pins with same numbers connected together). The
maximum distance between the LD-POWER and the
LED-projectors is 80meters.

Example of an installation
2 LD-BAR 12TC projectors connected to 2 different zone outputs of the LD-POWER 120. It’s important to
know that, since each output on the LD-POWER 120 supports up to 12 LEDs of each color, we are only
allowed to connect 1 LD-BAR 12TC to each output!
