be always accessible.

Please read this manual thoroughly and comple-

tely before using the device. Only use the device

in accordance with the instructions contained

herein!

Do not operate the device if there are any unans-

wered questions regarding the use and operati-

on of the device. In this case, please contact the

ALLEGRA customer service.

1. Important safe instructions

Do not install and use the unit befo-

re carefully reading this instruction

guide. Please retain this manual for

future reference.

• Please be sure your electricity is correct

• To protect against electrical shock, do not place

it in near window or in bathroom

• Please ensure the unit is not placed closely to

the high temperature appliance, in case of pla-

stic destroying and fire.

• Never operate this unit in an explosive or cor-

rosive atmosphere.

• Always guide if children operate. Never disas-

semble the unit, and never try to carry out re-

pairs or adjust the unit yourself.

• Operate this unit on a horizontal surface to

avoid vibration and noise.

• Do not use the unit when slanted. If toppled

over, please pull out the plug at once.

• Make sure the inlet and outlet ventilation is not

blocked at all times.

• Ensure there is 30 cm of clear space on all si-

des of the unit.

• Do not spray water on the unit, spraying water

may cause malfunctioning and electric shock.

• Never pull the socket by using damp hands.

• Always switch off at the socket before unplug-

ging to avoid electric shock or arcing.

• Switch off and unplug the unit, empty the wa-

ter reservoir when not using the unit for a long

time.

• Do not pull power wire by force because it will

cause damage to power wire.

• Never put fingers or other objects in any

openings of the unit.

• Care should be taken when using the unit,

unplug the appliance during cleaning.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be repla-

ced by the manufacturer, its service agent or

similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a

hazard.

• This appliance may not be used by children.

Children must be not allowed to play with the

appliance.

• This appliance may be used by people with

reduced physical, sensory or mental capabi-

lities, or who lack sufficient experience and/

or knowledge, provided they are supervised or

have been trained in the safe use of the ap-

pliance and understand the potential dangers.

This marking indicates that this pro-

duct should not be disposed with other

household wastes throughout the EU.

To prevent possible harm to the en-

vironment or human health from uncontrolled

waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote

4.1. Functions of control panel & key pads

Press SPEED:

3. Press SPEED button to select the fan blower

working at “High speed” level or “Low speed”

level.

TIMER:

4. Press “TIMER” to select the desired hour of

automatic shut off at 1H, 2H, 4H, 8H.

Humidity:

5. Press HUMID to select the desired ambient re-

lative humidity at 40% RH, 60% RH, 80% RH.

4.2. Operation Of Key Pads:

1. When plug into power socket, 3 beep signals

can be heard. Simultaneously all indicator light

will illuminate and the indicator light will turn

off after 1 second.

2. Press the “POWER” button to turn on the unit.

The “RUN” indicator light will illuminate.

• The unit is default at automatic high speed

when switched on.

• The automatic shut off function is not activa-

ted & the unit is in standby status.

• The automatic control of humidity function

is not activated & the unit is in the status of

constant dehumidifying.

• Press the “POWER” button again, the unit

will stop working.

The fan blower will automatically switch to

operate at “High speed” level when the am-

bient temperature is higher or equal to 32°C

that detected by the temperature sensor built

in the unit.

• Press “TIMER” to select the desired hour of

automatic shut off, the related indicator light

will illuminate. The unit will continue opera-

ting without setting timer, the indicator light

of automatic shut off will not illuminate.

• The timer setting will be calculated auto-

matically and the indicator light of automatic

shut off will indicate the hour of remainder.

• The unit will switch off automatically & stop

working when the timer setting run out.

Press HUMID …

• 1 x to select the desired ambient relative

humidity at 40% RH

• 2 x: to select the desired ambient relative

humidity at 60% RH

• 3 x: to select the desired ambient relative

humidity at 80% RH.;

• 4 x: to select the constant dehumidifying

function.

• The unit will stop dehumidifying automati-

cally when the ambient relative humidity is

2% RH lower than the setting %RH, the indi-

cator light of “RUN” turn off. The fan blower

will operate at “Low speed” level.

• The unit will start to dehumidify automati-

cally when the ambient relative humidify is

2% RH higher than the setting %RH, the in-

dicator light of “RUN” will illuminate. The fan

blower keeps runing as per the setting level.

• The unit continue operating without consi-

dering the ambient relative humidity when it

is set to operate under the mode of “CONT-

INUE”, the continue pilot lamp is exhibiting.

4.3. Automatic defrosting

1. When the temperature sensor on the copper

pipe detects the surface of the evaporator

dropped down to -1°C, the auto defrost fun-

ction is start up.

2. The frost thawing and the temperature sen-

sor detects the the surface of the evapora-

tor is higher than 3°C, defrost function will

stop and dehumidifying function start up.

When defrosting, indicator light of defrost will

illuminate and the indicator light of dehumi-

difying will turn off.

4.6. Processions of abnormal compressor

During the operation, any malfunction forced

compressor failed, resulting compressor shut

off, it takes 3 minutes to rework for protection

period.

4.7. Protection of extremely

low or high temperature

When sensor detected ambient temperature is

≤0°C or ≥40°C,as to protect the unit which will

shut off automatically and beeper continuous

warning with 3 long and 2 short signals.

4.5. Continuous drainage

Remove water plug and connect with PVC hose

with spigot.

• Symbol of defrost displayed on LCD, the

compressor is shut off, fan runs at high

speed.

• Symbol of dehumidifying displayed on LCD,

the compressor will work, and fan runs at

original set speed.

After water reservoir removed and intend to

reinstate the operation, it takes about 3 mi-

nutes to start the unit again for protection

purpose. To scrub off protection time, you may

remove plug from power socket to restart the

unit.

• All function keys are out of functions, you

should plug off to restart the unit.

• Any abnormal over heating is greater than

40°C of unit internally, the unit shut off as

well.

• PVC hose must be placed on the ground flat-

ly.

• Do not tangle the hose.

• Do not immerse the end of water outlet into

other receptacle to avoid water flow blocked.

4.4. Protection of water full

When condensed water is full, buzzer will alarm

10 times. (about 5 seconds) Whilst, the symbol

of water full exhibited on LCD screen, all other

symbols are disappeared. The water reservoir

must be removed to empty and reinstalled be-

fore the unit operates again. The interval of

dehumidifying takes about 3 minutes, owing to

compressor is under protection.

4.8. Failures of humidity or

temperature sensor

• When the connect wire of humidity and tem-

perature sensor break off, the continue pilot

lamp will wink, the unit comes into continuous

dehumidifying mode out of humidity control, it

can work after obviating the failure.

• When the temperature sensor of evaporator

appears open circuit or short circuit, the de-

frosting pilot lamp will wink, the unit turns into

settled dehumidifying and defrosting mode:

dehumidifying for 20 minutes, then defrosting

for 5 minutes.

1. Before any maintenance or cleaning, please

switch off and unplug the unit.

2. For its casing is made of wood and plastic, do

not place it in direct sunlight.

3. Remove the water tank with care.

4. If not using the unit for a long time. Please

ter reservoir, and pack it after 2 days, then,

keep it in dry and ventilated place.

5. Only use a soft clean cloth for all cleaning

purpose. Do not use gasoline, paint thinner or

other chemicals to clean the unit.

6. Cleaning mesh filter: Remove the filter. Use a

vacuum cleaner or water to clean, then put it

in ventilated place until it‘s dry.

5. Ambient environment

for operating

• The appliance is designed to provide an opti-

mum performance not recommended to ope-

rate in ambient temperature exceeds 35°C

(Wet ball 30°C) or lower than 5°C

• Operate the unit indoors, e.g. Living room, be-

droom, etc. Never use it in wet environment or

outdoors.

• Make sure the door and window are closed be-

fore turning on the unit.

• Ensure that the unit is placed on a stable and

flat floor surface.If the floor surface is not even

there is a risk that the unit may be unstable

and topple over. Also excessive vibration and

noise may be result.

8. Guarantee

If there is a fault on your device, we ask you to

contact our Technical Hotline at first (+49 / 30 5

111 600) or the dealer to contact from whom you

purchased the product. If we can not solve the

problem in this way, please return the unit back

to the appropriate dealer.

• Excluded from the warranty are external visual

defects, beyond damage caused by improper

installation or incorrect operation or mechani-

cal damage. No guarantee if the serial number

has been removed or damaged.

• The intervention of unauthorized third parties,

the warranty expires.

• The warranty covers the repair or replacement

of the defective part, but not your necessary

expenses.

turned with an error description in the original
