Before beginning assembly, carefully read the
following information and instructions:
• Place all parts of the weight bench in a cleared
area and remove the packing materials; do not
dispose of the packing materials until assembly is
completed.
• For help identifying the small parts used in
assembly, use the PART IDENTIFICATION
CHART located in the centre of this manual.
Note: Some small parts may have been pre-
attached for shipping. If a part is not in the parts
bag, check to see if it has been pre-attached.
• As you assemble the weight bench, Make sure
that all parts are oriented as shown in the
drawings.
• Tighten all parts as you assemble them, unless
instructed to do otherwise.
THE FOLLOWING TOOLS (NOT INCLUDED) ARE
REQUIRED FOR ASSEMBLY:
• Two (2) adjustable spanners
• One (1) phillips screwdriver
• One (1) rubber mallet
• Lubricant, such as grease or petroleum jelly,
and soapy water will also be needed.
Assembly will be easier if you have a socket set or
a set of open-end or closed-end wrenches.

Attach the Right Stabiliser (49) to the “H” Frame
(52) with a 5/16” x 2 1/2” Bolt (2), a 5/16” Washer
(3), and a 5/16” Nylon Locknut (1). Do not tight-
en the Nylon Locknut yet.
Attach the Left Stabiliser (50) to the “H” Frame
(52) with a 5/16” x 2 1/2” Bolt (2), a 5/16” Washer
(3), and a 5/16” Nylon Locknut (1). Do not tight-
en the Nylon Locknut yet.
HOW TO ADJUST THEWEIGHT BENCH
The instructions below describe how each part of the weight bench can be adjusted. Inspect and tighten all parts
each time you use the weight bench. Replace any worn parts immediately. The weight bench can be cleaned with
a damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive detergent. Do not use solvents.
ADJUSTING THE BACKREST
To use the Backrest (54) in an inclined position, first
remove the Medium Lock Pins (22). Raise the
Backrest and insert the Adjustment Tube (61) through
one of the three sets of large holes in the “H” Frame
(52). As you insert the Adjustment Tube, adjust the
height of the Weight Rests (55) and insert the
Adjustment Tube through one of the three sets of
large holes in the Weight Rests. Rotate the
Adjustment Tube to the locked position, with the end
of the Adjustment Tube clipped onto the “H” Frame.
Lay the Backrest on the Adjustment Tube.
To use the Backrest (54) in a level position, remove
the Adjustment Tube (61). Lay the Backrest on the
Frame (51). Use the Medium Lock Pins (22) to adjust
the height of the Weight Rests (55) (see ADJUSTING
THE WEIGHT RESTS below).
ADJUSTING THE WEIGHT RESTS
When the Backrest (54) is in the level position, the
Weight Rests (55) must be secured with the Medium
Lock Pins (22). Raise the Weight Rests to the desired
height, and align one of the holes in each Weight
Rest with the small hole in the “H” Frame (52). Insert
the Medium Lock Pins through the “H” Frame and the
Weight Rests. Rotate the Medium Lock Pins to the
locked position, with the Medium Lock Pins clipped
onto the “H” Frame. Make sure that both Weight
Rests are at the same height.
ATTACHING WEIGHTS TO THE WEIGHT BENCH
To use the Arms (57, 58), make sure that there is a
Weight Stop (13) on each 11” Weight Tube (63). Slide
the desired amount of weight (not included) onto each
Weight Tube. Do not place more than 30 pounds
(14 kg) on each Arm.
To use the Leg Lever (45), make sure that there is a
Weight Stop (13) on the 14” Weight Tube (46). Slide
the desired amount of weight (not included) onto the
Weight Tube. Do not place more than 125 pounds
(57 kg) on the Leg Lever.
