Your 282893/282895 Princess refrigerator has
been designed for cooling food and beverages
(min. 10 °C). The appliance is also suitable for
heating food and beverages (max. 45 °C). The
maximum capacity of the appliance is 14 litres.
The appliance is suitable for indoor use (AC,
220-240V) and for use in a vehicle (DC, 12V).
The appliance is suitable for domestic use only.

Initial use
Preparation
Clean the appliance. Refer to the section •

Assembly (fig. B)
Before you proceed, we need you to pay
attention to the following notes:
- Make sure that there is sufficient space
around the appliance to allow heat to
escape and provide sufficient ventilation.
Minimum distance to wall or other objects:
10 cm.
Place the appliance on a stable and flat •
surface.
Pull the door handle (2) to open the door (1).•
Place the removable plates (5) into the •
cooling compartment (4).
Mount the removable tray (6) to the door (1).•
Close the door (1) until the door handle (2) •
locks into place.

Switching on and off (fig. A)
To switch on the appliance, set the heating/•
cooling selector switch (8) and the DC/AC
selector switch (10) to the required position.
To switch off the appliance, set the heating/•
cooling selector switch (8) and the DC/AC
selector switch (10) to the off position.
Selecting the cooling function or
the heating function (fig. A)
Before you proceed, we need you to pay
attention to the following notes:
- Switch off the appliance for 30 minutes
when changing from cooling to heating or
from heating to cooling.
To select the cooling function, set the •
heating/cooling selector switch (8) to the
COLD position. The cooling indicator (9a)
comes on.
To select the heating function, set the •
heating/cooling selector switch (8) to the
HOT position. The heating indicator (9b)
comes on.
To switch off the cooling function or the •
heating function, set the heating/cooling
selector switch (8) to the off position. The
corresponding indicator (9a/9b) goes off.
Selecting alternating current or
direct current (fig. A)
The appliance can be operated using alternating
current (AC, 220-240V) for indoor use or using
direct current (DC, 12V) for use in a vehicle.

Before you proceed, we need you to pay
attention to the following notes:
- Do not use the appliance with a 24V battery
or with a power transformer. If you use
direct current (DC), make sure that the
power supply is suitable for a current of 4A
and stabilised at a voltage of 12V.
To select alternating current (AC), set the •
DC/AC selector switch (10) to the AC
position.
To select direct current (DC), set the DC/AC •
selector switch (10) to the DC position.
To switch off alternating current (AC) or •
direct current (DC), set the DC/AC selector
switch (10) to the off position.
Hints for use (fig. A & B)
Before you proceed, we need you to pay
attention to the following notes:
- Do not touch the metal parts inside the
appliance when using the heating function.
The metal parts become very hot during use.
Place the appliance on a stable and flat •
surface.
Assemble the appliance. Refer to the •
section "Assembly".
Connect the correct power cable to the •
correct connection:
- To use alternating current (AC), connect
the correct end of the AC power cable
(14) to the AC connection (12). Connect
the other end of the AC power cable
(14) to the wall socket.
- To use direct current (DC), connect the
correct end of the DC power cable (13)
to the DC connection (11). Connect the
other end of the DC power cable (13) to
the cigarette lighter jack of the vehicle.
To switch on the appliance, set the heating/•
cooling selector switch (8) and the DC/AC
selector switch (10) to the required
position.
To switch off the appliance, set the heating/•
cooling selector switch (8) and the DC/AC
selector switch (10) to the off position.
After use, remove the mains plug from the •
wall socket.
Allow the appliance to cool down completely.•
Cleaning and maintenance
Before you proceed, we need you to pay
attention to the following notes:
- Before cleaning or maintenance, switch off
the appliance, remove the mains plug from
the wall socket and wait until the appliance
has cooled down.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or
other liquids.

U.K. Wiring instructions
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:

As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of
this appliance may not correspond with the
colour markings identifying the terminals on
your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be
connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be
connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter L or coloured red.
If a 13Amp (BS1363) plug is used, a 13Amp
(BS1362) fuse must be fitted, or if any other
type of plug is used, a 13Amp fuse must be
fitted, either in the plug or adaptor, or on the
distribution board.
This is a double-insulated appliance and does
not need an earth connection.
Warning! On no account should either the live
or neutral wires be connected to the earth
terminal.
