BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE
Read these user instructions carefully to learn about all the functions of your washing
machine.
x Make sure that the appliance has not been
damaged in transit.
x Remember: the appliance is designed only
for home use.
x Make sure that water and electrical
connections are made by a qualified
technician, observing the manufacturer’s
instructions (see “Installation” section) and
local safety regulations.
x Remove the transit bolts (see “Installation”
section).
PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
1. Packing material
The packing material can be 100% recycled,
as confirmed by the recycling symbol
.
2. Appliance
The appliance is built from recyclable
materials. If you decide to scrap the washing
machine act responsibly and observe local
waste disposal bylaws. Cut off the power
cord so that the appliance cannot be
connected to the mains.
3. Use
x Save water and electricity by washing with a
full machine load whenever possible (exact
amount depends on the programme).
x For averagely to lightly soiled wash use a
programme without a prewash cycle.
x Use low temperatures for lightly soiled
laundry or use the quick wash, if available.
x Press the half load/lightly soiled button
(depending on model) when washing part
loads, and reduce the amount of detergent.
x Ifyouintendtodrythewashinadryer,
select maximum spin speed (depending on
the programme) to limit electricity
consumption by the dryer.
x Do not exceed the detergent dosages
indicated in the manufacturers’ instructions.
x Use stain removal products bleaches only
when strictly necessary.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND ADVICE
x Before cleaning or carrying out maintenance,
unplug the appliance from the mains.
x Switch off the appliance and turn off the tap
when it is not in use.
x In the event of difficulty, never try to force
the door open.
x Children should not be allowed to play with
the appliance and must not enter the drum.
Do not rest any weight on the door.
x Packing materials can be dangerous for
children: keep all packing material (plastic
bags, polystyrene, etc.) well out of their
reach.
MOVING AND TRANSPORTING THE APPLIANCE
x Unplug the appliance from the mains.
x Turn off the tap.
x Disconnect the drain and supply hoses.
x Drain out residual water (from the appliance
and the hoses).
x Fit the transit bolts (see “Installation” section).
