isa
Bluetooth®
handsfreekit thatsupportsheadsetand
handsfreeprofile phones. This handsfree kitis equipped  with hitechfeatures
such as: VOX Technology, Multipoint Connection and Full DSP Noise
Cancellation/Echo Cancellation. It can also be used as speaker to stream
music fromyour phone over A2DP (Adva nce Audio Distribution Profile). Itis
designedforeasyhandsfreeoperationandsuperiorperformance.

PowerOn: PresstheMFB(1) for1second,untilth eBluetoothIndicator(7)
turnsbli nkingblue.Abeepwillbeheard.
PowerOff: Press and hold the MFB (1) for 5 seconds, until the Bluetooth
Indicator( 7)turnsred.Abeepwillbeheard.
E.PairingtoyourBluetoothMobilePhone
PairtheSUPERTOOTHONEtoyourBluetoothmobilephonetocreatethelink
oraudioconnectionbetweenthetwo.Thepairingproce ssisrequiredonlyonce
foreachphone.
1.FromOFF, press and hold the MFB (1) for 5 seconds un til the Bluetooth
Indicator (7) turns blinking red/bl ue. The handsfree kit is now in pairing
mode.
2.While the handsfree kit is in pairing mode, access the Bluetooth menu of
your phone. Turn on the Bluetooth function then execute a Bluetooth
search.(

WhenthephonedisplaysthelistofBluetoothdevices,select
STONE.
4.Whenthephoneasksforthepassword/pincode,enter0000andpressOk.
5.Thehandsfreekitisnowreadytouse.
F.Installation
1. Place theclipintheslotsatthebackoftheSUPERTOOTHONE.
2. Slide thecliptoitsclosedsideuntilitlocks.
Warning:Donotforceontheswitcheswhileinsertingtheclip.
3. The closed sideofthecli p shouldbealignedwiththetoporthebottomo f
theSUPERTOOTHONE.
Note:Theclipcanbeattachedtotheunitin2ways,tosuitanypositiononthe 
sunvisor
.

4. Place  the SUPERTOOTH ONE on the sunvisor in such a way that its
microp honeisdirectedtothemouthofthe user.

IMPORTANT:

MakeaCall(NormalDial):
Dialthenumberon yourphone.Audiowillautomaticallybeheardthroughthe
handsfree kit. During an ongoing call, the Bluetooth Indicator (7) will turn
steadyblue.
Note: With some phones, audio is always on the  ph one during  an  ou tgoing
call.Youwillne edtopressthe
MFB(1)
for1secondtotransfertheaudioto
yourhandsfreekit.
AnsweraCall:
· To answer a call, simply press the MFB (1) for 1 second, the Bluetooth
Indicator( 7)willturnsteadyblue.
· Alternatively, assuming that Voice Answer is activated (
see Voice
AnswerActivation/DeactivationonSectionJ”
):
Accept a call by l oudly and clearly saying “ACCEPT CALL”, “ACCEPT”,
“ANSWER”or“OK”afterthespecialringtone.Sayitonlyonceandwithin 3
seconds emphasizing each syllable. When a call is answered, the
BluetoothIndicator(7)willturnsteadyblue.

EndaCall:
PresstheEnd/RejectButton(4)for1secondtoendthecall.

Important:Beforeusingthisfeat ure,makesurethatthevoicedialingfunction
of your phon e is activated and at least one
voice tag
is recorded on your
phone.(Kindlyrefertotheprocedureinyourphone’smanual.)
Note:Voice dialingentriesmust bestoredinthephone’smemory,notonthe
SIMcard!
1. PresstheMFB(1)for1second.
2. Avoicedial beep will beheardonthehandsfree kitpromptingyou to say
thevoicetagofthecontacttocallandtheBluetoothIndicator(7)willturn
steadyblue.
3. Saythevoice tagexactlyashowyourecordedit.
4. The voice tag will be played back to you and then the ph one will dial the
numberautomatically.
Redial
(ForHandsfreeProfilePhonesonly)
:
PresstheMFB(1)for3seconds.Thelastdialednumberwillberedialed.
RejectaCall
(ForHandsfreeProfilePhonesonly)
:
During the ring tone, press the End/Reject Button (4) for 1 second. The
incomingcallwillberejected.
VolumeSetting:
Increase or decrease the volume by pressing the Volume Up (3) or Volume
Down (2) button. Press repeatedly un til the desired level is reached. The
Bluetooth Indicator (7) will turn violet as lowest and highest levels are
reached.
AudioTransfer
(ForHandsfreeProfilePhonesonly)
:
Duringanongoingcall,youcantransfertheaudio.
KittoPhone: PressandholdtheMFB(1)for3secondsandtheaudiowill
betr ansferredtothephone.
PhonetoKit: Press the MF B (1) for 1 second and the audio will be
transferredtothehandsfreekit
.
Note: Forsomeph ones,youmayneedtoacceptaconnectionpromptonthe
phonebeforeautomatictransfertakesplace.

H.StreamMusicfromyourA2DPBluetoothMobilePhone:
If a phone supports A2DP, you can stream music fr om your phone to the
SUPERTOOTHONE.
Note:TheSUPERTOOTHONEneedstobe‘pair ed’withyour Bluetoothmobile
phonebeforeyou canusethefollowingfunctions. (SeePairingtoyour
BluetoothMobilePhoneonsectionE”.)
UsingA2DPMusicStreaming
ToStreamMusic:
· Gotoyourphone’smusicplayerandplayatrackviaA/Vbluetooth.

DoubleShortPresstheMFB(1)toplay/pausemusicstreaming.
ToSettheVolume:
· PresstheVolumeUp(3)ordown(2)buttonrepeatedlyuntilthe desired
levelisreached.
I.AdvancedFunctions
a.MultiPointF unction
The SUPERTOOTHONEcansimultane ouslyconnectto2Bluetoothdevices.
Thelastconnectedphone(orthelastthathadanactivecall)issetasprimary
andtheotherphoneissetassecondary.
TheSUPERTOOTHONEisactiveonbothmobilephones.Useractions(voice
dial,redial) will control the primary phone,butanincoming call on any of the
twophonescanbe acceptedorrejectedfromtheSUPERTOOTHONE.
MultiPointPairingProcedure:
1.Turn of f thehandsfree kit by pressingandholding theMFB (1) until the
LEDflashesred.
2.Pair the additional  phone as explained in
Pairing to your Bluetooth
MobilePhoneonsectionE”.
Thisphonewillnowbetheprimaryphone
.
ToSwapthePrimaryandSecondaryPhones:
Ifneeded,youcanswaptheprimaryandsecondaryphonesasfollows:
· PressandholdEnd/RejectButton(4)buttonfo r5seconds,abeepwill
beheard.Thesecondaryphoneisnowsetasprimary.

Notes:
· Voice dial and redial will be done using the primary phone only. See
abovehowtoswapthephones.
· Youcanacceptorrejectcallsfromanyofthetwophones.
· Ifyouacceptacall,thatphonewillbecometheprimaryphone.
· Akeypaddialwillsetthatphoneasprimary.
Simultaneouscalls:
Youcannothearacallormusicfrom2phonessimultaneously.
If you receive a call, when you already havean ongoing call, you will heara
specialringtone.
1.Ifyourejectthecallyoucancontinuetheongoingcall.
2.Ifyouanswerthecall,theinitialcallwillbeended.
Note: The  Voiceanswer functionis disabled when you have an ongoing call.
Thisallowsyoutosaygoodbyebeforetoanswerthesecondcall.
Receivingacallwhilelisteningtomusic:
Ifyoureceiveacall,themusicwillbepauseduntilyourejectorendthecall.
Note:On somephonesyouwillneedtorestartthemusicplayingmanually.
b.SwitchingConnectionsBetweenPairedPhones
The SUPERTOOTH ONE always maintains a maximum of 8 phones in its
memory.An additionalpairingwillautomaticallydeletethephonethathasnot
beenusedforthelongesttime.T hisphoneneedstobepairedagainbeforeit
canbeused.
Youcaneasilyswitchtoanyofthepairedphonesby:
1. Disconnectingoneofthe2connectedph onesusingthe“Activedevices”
intheBluetoothmenuofthatphone.
2. Connecting to the desired phone by using the “Paired devices” in the
Blue toothmenuofthatphone.
Note:ReconnectiontoapairedphonecanalsobedonebypressingtheMFB
(1) .However,theSUPERTOOTHONEwillattempttoconnecttothelastused

phoneonly.Therefore,itisrecommendedtoconnecttoanotherpairedphone
usingthe phonemenu.
J.SpecialFeatures
a.VoiceAnswerMode(VOXTechnology) :
ImportantNotice:Thisfeaturemaynotperformwellinsideavehiclewithhigh
backgr oundnoise.
· When activated, the user can accept a call by loudly and clearly
saying“ACCEPTCALL”,“ACCEPT”,“ANSWER”or“OK”.Emphasizeeach
syllable and say it onl y once and within 3 seconds after the special ring
tone.
· Whendeactivated,answeracallbypressingtheMFB(1).
TheVoiceAnswerModecanbeenabledordisabledwhe nthekitisinst andby
mode(noongoingcallandcloseanymultimediaplayer).
Activation: PressandholdVolumeUp(3)Buttonfor5seconds,abeep
willbeheard.
Deactivation: Press and hold Volume Down (2) Button for 5 seconds, a
beepwillbeheard.
b.AutomaticReconnection:
· Automatic reconnection occurs when you go  out of Bluetooth range for
morethan20seconds(withoutturningOFF thehandsfreekit)andthengo
back in range. The kit will automatically search for your phone and
reconnect.
Note: This automatic reconnection can take up  to 10 seconds after arriving
backinrange.
· Incaseofintentionaldisconnection(usingthephonemenu),thissyste m
isnotactivated.
