Thank you for purchasing our Network speed dome camera!
This users manual is designed to be a reference tool for your system.
Please read the following safeguard and warnings carefully before you use this series product!
Please keep this users manual for future reference!
Important Safeguards and Warnings

Electrical safety
All installation and operation here should conform to your local electrical safety codes.
Please check if the power supply is correct before operating the device.
The power shall conform to the requirement in the SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) and the
Limited power source is rated 12V DC, DC5V or AC24V in the IEC60950-1. (Power supply
requirement is subject to the device label).
Please prevent the line cord from being damaged, especially the plug, power socket and the
junction from the device.
Note: Do not connect PoE and standard 12V power supply sources to the device at the
same time; it may result in device damage!
We assume no liability or responsibility for fires or electrical shock caused by improper handling
or installation.
We are not liable for any problems caused by unauthorized modification or attempted repair.

Environment
Please do not aim the device at strong light (such as lightning, sunlight etc.) to focus; otherwise it
may cause overexposure (It is not the devices malfunction), which will affect the longevity of
CCD or CMOS.
Please transport, use and store the device within the range of allowed humidity and temperature.
Please dont keep the device in a place which is wet, dusty, extremely hot, and extremely cold
and with strong electromagnetic radiation or unstable lighting.
Please do not allow water and other liquid to fall into the camera to prevent internal components
to be damaged.
Please keep the camera well ventilated to prevent heat accumulation.
Please pack the device with standard factory packaging or material with same quality when
transporting the device.

Heavy stress, violent vibration or heavy water splash are not allowed during transportation,
storage and installation.
3. Operation and Daily Maintenance
Please do not touch the heat dissipation component of the device directly to avoid burn.
Please do not dismantle the device; there is no component which can be fixed by users
themselves in the camera. It may cause water leakage or bad image for the device due to
unprofessional dismantling.
It is recommended to use the device with surge proof device to improve surge resistance.
The grounding holes of the product are recommended to be grounded to further enhance the
reliability of the camera.
Do not touch the CCD (CMOS) optic component directly. You can use the blower to clean the
dust or dirt on the lens surface. Please use a dry cloth moistened by alcohol to wipe away the
dust gently if it is necessary to clean.
Always use the dry soft cloth to clean the device. If there is too much dust, please use the water
to dilute the mild detergent first and then use it to clean the device. Finally use the dry cloth to
clean the device. Dont use volatile solvent like alcohol, benzene, thinner etc. or strong detergent
with abrasiveness, otherwise it will damage the surface coating or reduce the working
performance of the device.
Dome cover is an optical device, please don’t touch or wipe cover surface directly during
installation and use, please refer to the following methods to deal with once dirt is found:
- Stained with dirt
Use oil-free soft brush or hair dryer to remove it gently.
- Stained with grease or fingerprint
Use soft cloth to wipe the water drop or oil gently to make it dry, then use oil-free cotton cloth or
paper soaked with alcohol or detergent to wipe from the lens center to outward. It is ok to change
the cloth and wipe several times if it is not clean enough.
Warning
Please use the standard accessories provided by manufacturer and make sure the device is
installed and fixed by professional installers.
Please prevent the device surface from the radiation of a laser beam when using laser beam
devices.
Please do not provide two or more power supply modes for the device, otherwise it may cause
damage to the device.
All installation and operations should conform to your local electrical safety codes. We assume
no liability or responsibility for all fires or electrical shock caused by improper handling or
installation.
Do not connect serval speed dome cameras to one power adapter. It may result in overheating
or fire if it exceeds the rated load.
Before you connect cable, install or uninstall or begin any work, please turn off the power and

unplug cable.
Please turn off power and unplug cables immediately if there is any smoke, bad smells, or noise.
Please contact technical support.
All work should be done by a trained service installer. We are not liable for any problems caused
by unauthorized modifications or attempted repair.
Please make sure no objects fall or flammable substances get into the speed dome camera. This
could result in fire, short-circuit or damage.
Please power down and unplug camera cables immediately if there is any liquid falling into or
inside camera.
Please use caution when locating a mounting location. Rain and sea water can erode the camera.
Notate the cameras IP rating for best application.
This series speed dome should be installed inside in a cool dry location away from sunlight.
This series speed dome should be kept away from strong electromagnetic radiant, please keep
away from wireless power, TV transmitter etc.

particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television
reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged

l Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
l Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is
connected.
l Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

INTELLIGENT SPEED DOME INSTALLATION
PREPARATION
1.1
Basic Requirement

Please make sure the speed dome installation environment and installation mode can meet
your requirement. If there is special requirement, please contact your local retailer for more
information.
l We assume no liability or responsibility for all the fires or electrical shock caused by
improper handling or installation.
1.2
Check installation space and installation location
Please make sure the installation environment has enough space to install the speed dome and
its corresponding bracket.
Please make sure the ceiling, wall and the bracket can support the speed dome and its
corresponding installation component. It shall sustain 8X’s the weight of the speed dome.
1.3
Please keep all package material well for future use
Please keep speed dome package material well in case you need to send it back to your local
retailer or manufacturer for maintenance work.
Non-original package material may result in device damage during the transportation.

SETUP BEFORE INSTALLATION
2.1
Check Accessories
Before the installation, please check the accessories one by one according to the packing list.
Please make sure all the components listed are included.
2.2
Open Device
Remove the package and then take out the device. Please remove the dustproof feet mat from
the pedestal. See Figure 2-1.
Note
You do not need to remove the dustproof feet mat from the pedestal if you just put it on the
horizontal place (There is no ceiling mount or wall mount requirement).

About Ceiling Installation Position Map
The ceiling installation position map is to define hard ceiling hole positions and cable exit position.
The beeline part is the mechanical blind spot. Please paste it according to your actual
requirement to avoid mechanical blind spot. See Figure 2-2.

TF Card Slot and Reset Button
TF card slot and RESET button is shown as in Figure 2-3.
Press the RESET button for at least five seconds; you can restore factory default setup.
Press the WPS button on the speed dome and the router at the same time. The speed dome can
automatically connect to the network. ( SEE NETWORK SECTION BEFORE PROCEEDING TO KNOW
ALL OPTIONS)
Before you remove the SD card, please make sure it is not in read/write status; otherwise
you may lose data or result in SD card damage.

CEILING INSTALLATION
3.1
Installation Components
The ceiling installation dome body is shown as in Figure 3-1.

3.2
Ceiling Installation Steps
3.2.1 Installation Requirements
The ceiling mount speed dome can be installed in the hard construction wall in the indoor
environments. Before the installation, please make sure:
l The wall is thick enough to install the expansion bolt.
l The wall can at least sustain the 8x weight of the speed dome.
3.2.2 Installation Steps
1) The ceiling installation has two cable exit modes: One is to pull the cable through the
side cable exit of the speed dome without digging hole on the ceiling. The other is to dig
hole on the ceiling and pull the cable through the ceiling.
2) Confirm installation position and cable exit mode. Use the ceiling installation position
map to dig holes on the ceiling and then put the three plastic expansion bolts firmly.
3) Turn three quick installation screws to the screw holes at the bottom of the pedestal.
Pull the cable through according to your cable exit mode. Use three self-tapping screws
to secure the sheet metal on the ceiling. Insert the screws to the expansion bolts. See
Figure 3-2.

4) In Figure 3-3, line up the three quick installation screws at the bottom of the pedestal
and the concave to the three holes and the U slot at the sheet metal respectively. Turn
counter clockwise to secure the speed dome and the sheet metal closely.
Note
When the arrow of the ceiling installation position turns to the characteropenat the
side of the speed dome, you can see the speed dome and then sheet metal are closely
secured.

WALL MOUNT BRACKET INSTALLATION
4.1
Component Installation
Wall mount bracket is shown as below. See Figure 4-1.

Installation
4.2.1 Installation Requirements
The wall mount speed dome can be installed on the hard construction wall in the indoor
environments. Before the installation, please make sure:
l The wall is thick enough to install the expansion bolt.
l The wall can at least sustain the 8x weight of the speed dome.
4.2.2 Installation Steps
1). Please draw hole positions in the wall according to the holes of the bottom of wall mount base.
Then you can dig holes and insert the expansion bolts. Use four hex bolts and flat washer to fix
the wall mount base in the expansion bolts. See Figure 4-2.

2). Connect the hanging mount to the internal thread of the wall mount bracket. Secure screws to
the right side of the wall mount bracket to secure the hanging mount. Please note this step is
very important. Please make sure the screws are firm, otherwise, it may result in falling
risk of the intelligent speed dome. Use three self-captive screws to secure the sheet metal on
the hanging mount. See Figure 4-3.

3) Insert three quick installation screws to the holes at the bottom of the pedestal. Pull the
intelligent speed dome composite cable through the hanging mount and end of the column of the

wall mount bracket and pull it out of the other end of the wall mount bracket. Line up the three
quick installation screws at the bottom of the pedestal and the concave to the three holes and the
U slot at the sheet metal respectively. Turn counter clockwise to secure the speed dome and the
sheet metal closely. See Figure 4-4.
Note
When the arrow of the ceiling installation position turns to the character openat the side of the
speed dome, you can see the speed dome and then sheet metal are closely secured.

Connect cable connection at the wall mount base and then use four M8 screws to secure the wall
mount bracket on the wall mount base. See Figure 4-5.

5 Network Configuration
The IP camera defaults to DHCP. If you are connecting directly to NVR the NVR will assign the
IPC an IP address. If you are connecting IPC to XVR or hybrid DVR accepting IP camera or if
camera is connected directly on network router make sure you change to a static IP. NOTE:
ALWAYS CHANGE PASSCODE TO IP CAMERA FOR IMPROVED SECURITY.
5.1 Modify IP Address
IP address can be acquired and modified through our quick configuration tool for the cameras
which are accessed via wired network, it needs to connect wired network to configure wireless
parameters before using wireless network cameras. In this chapter, it will introduce the approach
of modifying IP address via Quick Configuration Tool; also, you can modify the IP address in
the network parameters of the WEB interface, please refer to the document link for Config Tool.
Note:
Currently the quick configuration tool only supports the cameras which apply to the same
network segment with computer IP address.
Step 1) Double click the “ConfigTools.exe” and open the quick configuration tool. See if your
camera is already in the list or click search at the top.
Step 2) Select device to be configured, the system will pop out the Modify IP Address box when
selecting Modify IP. Enter the static IP address and details to assign for this camera.
NOTE static IP is best way. DHCP will change and can cause configuration issues.
The default user name and password are admin and admin respectively, the default of port is
37777. See Figure 3-1 for more details.

Modify the camera IP address on the Netinterface, click Saveto finish modification.
See Figure 3-2 for more details.
5.2
Login WEB Interface
Note:
Different devices may have different WEB interfaces, the figures below are just for reference,
please refer to our website for the latest documentation.
Step 1) Open IE and input the modified camera IP address in the address bar.
Step 2) The login interface is shown below, please input your user name and password (Default
user name is admin and password is admin respectively), click login”. NOTE: Please
change the default passcode information for best security.
See Figure 3-3 for more details.

Step 3) Install controls according to the system prompt; see Figure 3-4 for the WEB main
interface. Please modify the administrator password as soon as possible after you successfully
logged in.

APPENDIX Ⅰ LIGHTENING PROTECTION AND SURGE
PROTECTION
This series speed dome adopts TVS lighting protection technology. It can effectively prevent
damages from various pulse signals below 4000W, such as sudden lighting and surge. While
maintaining your local electrical safety code, you still need to take necessary precaution
measures when installing the speed dome in the outdoor environment.
l The distance between the signal transmission cable and high-voltage device (or high-voltage
cable) shall be at least 50 meters.
l Outdoor cable layout shall go under the covering if possible.
l For vast land, please use sealing steel tube under the land to implement cable layout and
connects one point to the earth. Open floor cable layout is forbidden.
l In area of strong thunderstorm hit or near high sensitive voltage (such as near high-voltage
transformer substation), you need to install additional high-power thunder protection device
or lightning rod.
l The thunder protection and earth of the outdoor device and cable shall be considered in the
building whole thunder protection and conform to your local national or industry standard.
l System shall adopt equal-potential wiring. The earth device shall meet anti-jamming and at
the same time conforms to your local electrical safety code. The earth device shall not short
circuit to N (neutral) line of high voltage power grid or mixed with other wires. When connect
the system to the earth alone, the earth resistance shall not be more than 4Ω and earth
cable cross-sectional area shall below 25 mm2. See Figure 6-1.

APPENDIX24V AC WIRE GAUGE AND TRANSMISSION
DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP SHEET
It is the recommended transmission distance when the cable diameter is fixed and the 24V AC
power consumption is below 10%. For the AC device, the max permission voltage power
consumption is 10%. For example, when a device of rated power 20W installed 141 inches (42m)
from the transformer, then the min cable diameter is 0.8000mm.
