You have selected a high-quality product. The operating instructions
are part of this product. They contain important information about
safety, usage and disposal. Before using the product, please
familiarize yourself with all operating and safety instructions. Use
the product only as described and for the range of applications
specified. Please also pass these operating instructions on to any
future owner.

This section contains important safety instructions for using the ap-
pliance. This appliance complies with statutory safety regulations.
Improper use may result in personal injury and property damage.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. If the power supply cord of the appliance is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service depart-
ment, or a similarly qualified person to avoid hazards.
3. Only use the device in dry indoor areas - never outdoors.
4. Do not use the appliance near water, e.g. sinks, shower, or
bathtubs.
5. Never use the appliance while bathing, showering, or sleeping.
6. Never touch the power plug or power cord with wet hands.
7. Check the appliance for visible external damage before
use. Do not operate appliances that have been damaged or
dropped.
8. Children must not play with the appliance.
9. Only operate the unit with the supplied power cord.
10. If you are not sure whether you should use the appliance
due to pre-existing conditions, consult a physician prior to use.

11. If possible, place the device near an electrical outlet. Make
sure that the power plug is quickly accessible in case of
danger and that the power cord cannot become a tripping
hazard.
12. Ensure a safe and stable location for the appliance.
13. Do not use the appliance in case of rashes, inflammation,
swelling, sensitive spots, diabetes, open wounds, burns,
eczema, or psoriasis.
14. The plug connection of the appliance must not come into
contact with any liquids.
15. This appliance may only be used by children aged 8 years
and above and by persons with limited physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if
it is provided that they are being supervised or have been
instructed on how to use the appliance safely and are
aware of the potential risks.
16. Children may only attempt to carry out any cleaning and
maintenance tasks on the appliance if they are at least 8
years old and under supervision.
17. Children younger than 8 must be kept away from the appli-
ance and its connection cable.
18. If you are not sure whether you should use the appliance
due to pre-existing conditions, consult a physician prior to
use.
19. The surface of the heating unit retains residual heat after
use.
20. Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply
before leaving it unsupervised and before assembly, disas-
sembly or cleaning.

21. Before replacing accessories or additional parts that move
during operation, turn off the appliance and disconnect it
from the power supply.
22. Only use the appliance for its intended purpose. Misuse can

This product contains chemicals known to the

Do not use the device with commonly available
collagen tablets. Only use with the dedicated collagen tablets
which are part of the device or explicit sold for the device.
Never operate the appliance when it is empty, without liquid.
Never fill the appliance with aggressive or solvent-based
substances!
Always place the unit on level surfaces.
Please keep the terminal fully dry.

Important cord information
This appliance has a polarized plug. To reduce the risk of electric
shock, this plug only fits into a polarized outlet in one way. If
the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to
modify the plug in any way.
a) A short power supply cord (or detachable power supply cord)
should be used to reduce the risk resulting from becoming
entangled in, or tripping over a longer cord.
b) Longer detachable power supply cords or extensions cords
may be used if they are used carefully.
c) If a longer detachable power supply cord or extension cord
is used:
1) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension
cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the
appliance;
2) The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape
over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on
by children or tripped over unintentionally; and
3) If the appliance has a grounded plug, the cord set or
extension cord should also be a grounded 3-wire cord..

Intended Use
This appliance is only intended for mixing face masks. This appli-
ance is intended for use in private households only. Do not use it
for commercial purposes.

Before first use
1) Clean the appliance as described in the chapter on "Cleaning"
to remove transport dust. Dry it well.
2) Place the unit on a level and stable surface.
Using the appliance
Only use distilled water to make face masks!
1) Plug the connecting plug 3 into the socket of the appliance.
2) Connect the power plug into a power socket. A beep will
sound and the indicator light will light up green, and then it
will flash green continuously.
3) Slide the mask tray ! in front of the appliance so that the
notch at the edge protrudes underneath the appliance and
nestles around the curvature underneath the appliance (see
Fig. 1):

4) Open the fill opening closure by turning it slightly counter-
clockwise and lifting it (see Fig. 2):

Use the supplied measuring cup . to measure the liquid amounts.
5) Slowly pour in distilled water into the unit through the fill
opening . As soon as the required quantity (2 fl oz [60 ml])
is reached, you will hear a beep and the indicator light will
flash red.
6) Add the nurturing liquid, such as fruit juice or milk (see chapter
about "Tips for face mask creation").
As soon as the required amount of liquid (an additional
0.8floz [25 ml]) is added, you will hear a beep and the
indicator light will light up permanently red.
7) Insert the collagen tablet - through the fill opening into the
appliance.

To order more collagen tablets -, please contact our customer service
department (see chapter regarding "3 year limited warranty").
8) Close the fill opening by placing the fill opening closure
slightly offset on the fill opening : The latches in the fill open-
ing must slide into the recesses on the fill opening closure .
Then, turn the fill opening closure slightly clockwise until the
fill opening closure closes firmly.
9) Press the "Start" button . You will hear a beep and the indica-
tor light will light up permanently green.
The appliance will start mixing and heating the ingredients.
If you remove the mask tray ! from the appliance during the preparation
of the mask liquid, you will hear the beeping sounds and the indicator
light will turn yellow. Preparation of the face mask continues, but the
mask liquid is not dispensed. Dispensing begins only once the mask tray !
has been placed correctly under the appliance and the face mask has
finished mixing.
After about 6 minutes, the facial mask will be ready and the facial
mask will automatically run into the mask tray !. The indicator
light will flash green continuously.
Preparation time can vary according to the starting temperature and type
of ingredients!
Approx. 20 seconds after the face mask is poured into the mask
tray !, long beeps will sound. Disconnect the power plug from
the power socket.
10) Tilt the mask tray ! slightly to ensure optimal distribution of the
liquid.

11) If you want to make a refreshing face mask, carefully place the
mask tray ! in the refrigerator and wait for it to cool down.
If you want to make a warm face mask, wait about 5 minutes
until the mask has turned into a gel-like substance.
The gel setting time can vary greatly depending on the type of ingredients!
12) Carefully remove the face mask from the mask tray !. To re-
move the face mask, place a teaspoon at the edge of the mask
tray !and gently lift the mask out of the mask tray !.
Test the mask first in an inconspicuous location to test the compatibility.
13) Put yourself in a reclining position and tilt your head back.
Place the mask on your face. Start with the eye cutouts. Ensure
that your eyes fit the holes in the mask. Proceed with the holes
for your nose and mouth in the same way. Ensure that you can
breathe freely (cf. Fig. 3)

14) Leave the mask on for 10 - 15 minutes, depending on your
personal preferences. Afterwards, simply remove it.
If you develop an unpleasant feeling during the application or your skin
starts to itch or burn, remove the face mask immediately. Rinse your face
with plenty of clean water!
The used face masks can be disposed of in normal household waste.
Cleaning
For hygienic purposes, you must clean the appliance after each use.
Disconnect the power plug from the power
socket and the connecting plug 3 from the socket on the appli-
ance before any further cleaning.
Never immerse the appliance in water or
other liquids!
Allow the appliance to cool off slightly before
you clean it.
Do not use pointed or sharp objects to remove
cold collagen from the appliance!
Do not use chemical, abrasive, or aggressive
cleaning agents to clean the appliance!
Rinse the mask tray ! in warm water and add a mild deter-
gent.
Wipe the power cord with a damp cloth. Make sure the power
cord is completely dry before re-use.

Take the appliance apart for thorough cleaning (see Fig. 4):
Remove the fill opening closure .
Press the lid release . The casing lid flips slightly
upwards.
Remove the casing lid .
Pull the motor unit out of the casing .
Turn the casing over and press the output unit release
together. You can then pull out the output unit with the
output opening .

Wipe the motor unit , the fill opening closure , the casing
lid , and the casing from the inside and outside with a
damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, add a mild detergent to the
cloth. For hard-to-reach corners, use the supplied cleaning
brush 0. Remove any detergent residue with a damp cloth
and water only.
To clean the drive unit thoroughly, disassemble it as illustrated
in Fig. 5:
Turn the lower part (metal) of the drive unit clockwise
until the - mark on the lower part (metal) points at the
- mark on the drive unit .
Detach the lower part (metal) from the drive unit .

Rinse the lower part (metal) of the motor unit in warm
water and add a mild detergent. Rinse it with clean water
and dry it well.

Wipe the plastic part of the motor unit with a damp
cloth. For stubborn dirt, add a mild detergent to the cloth.
For hard-to-reach corners, use the supplied cleaning brush 0.
Remove any detergent residue with a damp cloth and wa-
ter only . Make sure that the seal ring is properly placed in
the plastic part of the motor unit (see Fig. 6).
Put both parts back together so that the - mark on the
lower part (metal) points at the - mark on the drive unit .
Lock the parts by turning the lower part (metal) counter-
clockwise. Make sure you turn the lower part (metal) as
far as possible in a counter-clockwise direction to prevent
leaks.
Rinse the output unit in warm water and add a mild detergent.
Dry all parts well. All parts must be completely dried before
reassembling the appliance.
Take special care to ensure that the metal contacts on the drive unit and
inside the casing are not damp. Dampness may cause the appliance to
malfunction!

Tips for face mask creation
Depending on the treatment purpose and skin type, you can make
your facial mask with various additives.
The following table gives you examples of various additives.
Please note that each skin type reacts differently to the additives.

If you want to obtain a particularly refreshing effect, place the facial mask
in the mask tray ! in the refrigerator so that it becomes pleasantly cool.
If you want to use viscous additives, liquefy them with water prior to use.
Storage
Clean the appliance as described in the chapter on "Cleaning"
before storing it.
Store the device in a dry and dust-free location.
