Warning: physical damage!
Make sure that you set up the appliance
exactly as described in the following! Pay
attention to the symbols on the appliance
parts! Otherwise, the safety switch may be
damaged and the appliance can no longer
be started.
Setting up the appliance
1) Fill the blender jug.
Place the blade holder on the blender
jug so that the blade extends into the
blender jug, and screw the blade holder
firmly in place.
Rotate the blender jug with the
screwed-on blade holder.
Now place the blade holder and the
attached blender jug onto the base so
that the arrow on the blade holder is
pointing to the symbol on the base.
Then turn the blade holder so that the
arrow on the blade holder points to the
symbol on the base. The blade holder
must audibly click into place so that it
sits firmly on the base.

Caution!
Use only with liquids!
► Solid fruit or food may only be processed in this
appliance if there is also liquid in the blender jug.
Always use the pulse function when you process
solid foods.

► You can also crush ice cubes with this appliance
(max. 2oz., approx. 2–4 ice cubes). However,
only add whole ice cubes to the blender jug if
you are also processing liquids at the same time.
Pulse the start button whenever you are processing
whole ice cubes.
