GENERAL INFORMATION
The HeatFlo Cover Plate Kit is intended to safely repair the fireplace
in case it was prepared for a HeatFlo Kit and it will not be used.
READ ALL THE STEPS BEFORE STARTING THE INSTALLATION
THE FIREPLACE MUST BE OFF AND COLD BEFORE BEGINNING.
ALL WARNINGS, PRECAUTIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS IN THE
INSTALLATION AND OPERATION MANUAL PROVIDED WITH
THE APPLIANCE APPLY TO THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
If you encounter any problems, need clarification of these
instructions or are not qualified to properly install this kit,
contact you local distributor or dealer.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Install one (1) small cover plate from above the unit by posi-
tioning the cover down through the cabinet top and the insu-
lation (see Figure 2).
2. Place the joggle through the hole where the knockout was
removed (see Figure 2).

3. Hold cover plate flat, flush with inner heat reflector, and install
self-tapping screw.
4. Repeat 3 more times.
5. Insert the replacement insulation “plugs” between inner heat
reflector and cabinet top.
6. Install large cover plates on cabinet top by placing joggle down
inside the hole where the knockout was removed.
7. Hold cover plate flat, flush with cabinet top, and install self-tap-
ping screw.
8. Repleat 3 more times.
9. Complete.
