Make certain to clean the roof substrate thoroughly.
Remove all foreign matter and old, loose coating by sandblasting, high pressure
water blasting, or white brushing
Kill and remove all mildew or fungus growth on the substrate by washing with a
solution that kills same; the flush with water.
Remove existing mildew before priming and painting or repainting.
Scrub mildew surfaces with mixture surfaces with a mixture of 1 quart
Crossco Crosscrete and 3 quarts warm water. Reading warning on
label. Wear rubber gloves and safety glasses.
Clean cracks and apply one coat of Crossco ES 2000 Primer,
let dry 2-3 hours, apply a second coat and let dry 24 hours. Apply over the
crack and 2” to both sides, with a putty knife a coat of Crossco ES
2000 Crack Filler, flexible caulk or sealant and Crossco ES 2000
Crossco ES 2000 Roof Sealer should be apply with a heavy nap, roller
or spray applied with airless spray equipment. The objective is to
have a thick, even coating over the entire roof surface that when dry
will be 30 mils thick. Apply only at temperature above 50° F. It is
recommended that a light colorant be used with the first coating to
show the areas of coverage of the second coat.
Apply a at spreading rate of:

Built-up roofs……………………………………. 50 sq.ft.
General surfaces……………………………….. 50 sq.ft.
Never thin or dilute from full strength. Drying time is approximately
60 minutes, but early protective skin forms before drying. Cure time is
controlled by the thickness of the applied coating, relative humidity
Allow 24 hours before recoating.
Select a warm, clear sunny day. Make sure there is no forecast of
rain. Do not apply after 4:00 PM. Keep rain free for 6 hours minimum
Clean rollers or equipment after use with hot, soapy water.
