WELCOME

Thank you for purchasing the new Air Cooler SY-CL170. Before using the product, read the instructions in this manual and keep them in

a safe place for future reference.

WARNINGS

 Do not carry the Air Cooler when filled with water. Some water may remain in the unit even if the tank is empty.

 Use only clean water. If needed, use distilled water.

 Please read and follow the regular maintenances as recommended in the “Maintenance” section of this guide.

 The Air Cooler works best in non-polluted areas. Large dust/dirt particles may reduce the lifetime of the unit.

 We recommend the use of this unit only in dry locations. If using in a moist area or environment, take care not to get water on

external areas of the product.

 If a leak or spill occurs on the surface of device, unplug the Air Cooler and let it dry for 24 hours before resuming normal operation.

 Do not place the unit to direct sunlight for extended periods of time.

 Before using the Air cooler for extended periods of time, empty the water tank, turn the unit on, and set it to the highest fan speed

for at least 4 hours. This will dry out the filter and the inside of your unit.

 Only use the original power adapter and cord supplied in the package.

 Do not touch the power supply or power cord with wet hands.

 Unplug the Air Cooler when cleaning, removing/replacing the filter, or moving the device.

 For best results, place the Air Cooler on a higher surface like a table or countertop.

 Do not place the device in passageways or high traffic areas where there is a possibility of tripping or knocking it over.

 Do not allow any foreign objects inside the Air Cooler.

 Do not place items on top the Air Cooler.

 Do not block the front and back grills of the device.

 Do not turn the device upside down.

 Do not submerge the Air Cooler under water or other liquids.

 Do not place the Air Cooler near open flames or fire sources.

 People with limited physical, visual or mental abilities or lacking proper experience and/ or knowledge should never use the device

without supervision of those responsible for their safety or those capable of assistance in using the device.

 The device can be switched off completely only when disconnected from the power supply.

 The manufacturer does not bear any responsibility for any damage from failure to comply with this product guide.

 A replaceable water filter is designed specifically for this product. If your filter has been broken or damaged, you can buy a

PARTS OF THE PRODUCT

TIPS:

 Place the Air Cooler on a raised surface such as a table, desk or counter top. This is the best way to cool your personal area faster.

 Make sure the air cooler is placed on a flat, stable surface or else water can leak out due to the angled position of the cooler.

 Let the filter absorb the water for at least 3 minutes after filling the tank and before use. Doing so will allow the air to cool quicker.

 In order to achieve best results, place the Air Cooler at a short distance from you.

 The Air Cooler will run for approximately 8 hours on a single fill and on the Low fan speed.

 Even when the water tank is empty, the device will continue cooling as the filter may still be soaked with water.

 If the device is not to be used for some time, during winter for instance, please empty the water tank and power the device on high

for 4 hours. This will dry out the filter and interior of the device.

SETUP:

1. Place the Air Cooler on a flat surface. (See Fig 1)

2. Open the water tank door and fill it with water (See Fig 2). We recommend using a pitcher or a measuring cup.

3. Plug the USB power adapter into an outlet. Then, insert the larger end of the USB cable into the adapter and the smaller end into the

power port on the back of Air Cooler.

USING THE PRODUCT

1. Press the Power button to turn on the Air Cooler. (See Fig 4)

Set the fan speed by pressing the button. You can select from Low, Medium and High Mode. The indicator lights next to the button

indicates the speed at which the Air Cooler is currently running. (See Fig 5)

2. The Artico air cooler includes a built in LED mood and night light. A soft glow LED light helps you to relax at night. You can either set

the light to any of its 7 colour options, set to colour-cycle mode, or turn the light off with the touch of a button. Press the button.

To activate the mood and night light. (See Fig 6)

Colour sequence: Blue, Red, White, Teal, Purple, Yellow, Green, Colour cycle.

3. When you have finished using the Air Cooler, press the Power button again to turn off your Air Cooler.

NOTE: We recommend running the Air cooler on High mode for at least 5 minutes before powering off to allow for drying.

WATER LEVEL LOW:

When the water level is low, the water tank will blink 3 times every 60 seconds in Amber color. When the tank is filled again, the light will

turn off and will function normally again.

MAINTENANCE

We recommend cleaning the water tank and inside of the unit once weekly.

Use only a non-abrasive cloth and mild dish soap when needed.

CHANGING THE FILTER

The Water Filter should be changed every 6 months, or when you feel the Air Cooler is not functioning as it should be. The water tank

will light up in Amber until the filter has been replaced. To replace the filter, hold the and button for 3 seconds until the tank is

not in AMBER colour anymore.

1. Unplug the Air Cooler from the wall.

2. Gently press the release tab on the bottom of the front grill and pull the grill down and away from the unit. Place aside. (See Fig 7)

3. Grab onto the filter and carefully slide it out of the unit completely. (See Fig 8)

4. Place the new filter in the Air Cooler as shown by the markings on the filter. (See Fig 9)

5. Insert the top tab of the front grill into the slot, and press the release tab back into place. (See Fig 10)
