By connecting a compatible iPod/iPhone model to the

S-A4, you can view movies, music videos, TV shows, and
video podcasts on a connected display. Component video
connectivity ensures a stable, high-quality video signal

utput. The DS-A4 supports 480i and 576i output from the
iPhone and iPod touch, and 480p and 576p from the iPod
n
ano (3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th generations) and iPod classic.

he DS-A4 comes with an on-screen display (OSD) mode
that enables you to easily navigate and select video and
audio content viewed on a connected display. In OSD

Added Functionality and Integration Through the
RI (Remote Interactive) Function
The DS-A4 can also be connected through Onkyo’s

roprietary RI interface. This gives you access to a variety of
useful functions, such as System On/Off, Auto Power On,
Auto Selector (Direct Change), and Sleep Timer.
