Cautions for Safe Operation
Power Supply
This camera must always be operated a AC 24V or
DC 12V Certified/Listed, class 2 power supply only.
Note: Be careful of AC frequency when the camera
is operated with Line lock mode.
Do not expose the camera to rain or moisture
This product is designed for indoor use or location
where it is protected from rain and moisture. When
exposed to moisture, turn the power off immediately
and ask a qualified service personnel for
servicing.Moisture can damage the camera and also
create the danger of electric shock.
Do not attempt to disassemble the camera
To prevent electric shock, do not remove screws or
covers. There are no user serviceable parts inside.
Ask a qualified service personnel for servicing.
Avoid the camera with direct sunlight
Do not aim the camera at bright objects. Never face it
with direct sunlight or other extremely bright objects.
Otherwise blooming or smear may be caused.
Do not use strong solvents or detergents
Use a dry cloth to the camera when it is dirty.
If it is hard to remove the dirt on the camera, use
a mild detergent and wipe it gently.
Handle the camera with care
Do not abuse the camera. Avoid striking, shaking,
etc. The camera could be damaged by improper
handling or storage.
Before operating, please check proper
temperature, humidity and power source
ratings.
Use the camera under conditions where temperature
is between -10 °C ~+50 °C.
Do not expose the camera in such
condition as shown below.
Use in a room or area filled with cigarette smoke,
dust or gas.

3. Lens Cover Hooker
Use to separate the Lens Cover.
4. Pan lock screw
Fixes the panning position after adjusting.
5. Fall Prevention Wire
Fixes the wire into the dome cover.

Use to select an operation mode.

Use this jack for checking the picture with
portable monitor when install the camera.
8. DC Iris adjuster
Rotate the VR (Variable Register) to set the
video output level of the DC driver auto iris lens.
9. V.Phase adjuster
Rotate the VR (Variable Register) for line-lock
vertical phase adjustment when using AC 24V
power source.

Connections
Basic connection
The peripheral devices (VCR, monitor, lens, etc.),
AC adapter and cables are not supplied.
1. Connecting the monitor
Make the video signal connection between the
camera and the monitor or time lapse VCR.
2. Supply AC 24 V or DC 12 V from an external
power source.

Disassembly of the camera
1. Remove the dome cover ring.
2. Remove the dome cover by loosening three
tamper-proof screws using the supplied bit.

Installation
Mounting the Camera without bracket
This camera can be installed directly on the surface
of the wall or ceiling without bracket.
Mounting the Camera with bracket
This camera can be installed on the surface of the
wall or ceiling using the supplied bracket.

Waterproof pad: Use this pad
to install the the camera on the
bumpy surface.
“A” Before installing the camera, make sure the
arrow marks are facing to the direction that
you desired to take a picture.
“B” Fix the screw to fix the camera body and
bracket.

The camera has a 8-bit switches. The
switch has variable operation modes.
1. Switches to Internal (ON) or Line-Lock (OFF).
Note: Do not set the switch to OFF (Line-Lock)
position when supplying 12 V DC to avoid
synchronization error.
2. Sets WB (White Balance) mode to
ON (ATW; Auto Trace white Balance) or OFF
(PUSH AWB; Push Auto White Balance).
3. Switches BLC (Back Light Compensation) to On
or Off. (This function works only when AGC
switch is set to ON.)
4. Switches FLC (Flickerless Control) to On or Off.
5. Switches Anti Color-rolling mode to On or Off.
6. Switches AGC (Auto Gain Control) to On or Off.
(The Day & Night function works when AGC ON
and the AGC function works when AGC off.)

Image Adjustment
You can manually adjust the pan/tilt/azimuth
angles, focus, and zoom while observing the
connected monitor.
Notes:
Do not hold the camera by lens unit to adjust
panning, tilting, or azimuth.
•The video output to the BNC will be interrupted
while a portable monitor is connected to the
video jack.
1. Connect an portable monitor to the video jack.
2. Pan/tilt adjustment
Loosen the two screws locking the tilt table.
Loosen the screw locking the pan table.
(1/4 turning)
•Pan and tilt the table to aim the camera at
what you need to watch.
•Tighten the three screws after adjusting.

Troubleshooting
Check the following guide for the possible cause of a problem before contacting service.
The picture is poor
Does the Dome Cover have lots of dust on the surface?
-Use a dry cloth to clean the camera when it is dirty.
Smear may be caused to the screen of night than daytime.
-Adjust the Focus by moving the Focus Lens.
Contrast of the screen is not clear.
Check the condition of the monitor.
Alight source such as a spot light causes burn-in on the display screen. Adjust position or angle of the
camera to eliminate strong background light.
Line-Lock mode cannot be active
- Line-Lock mode cannot be active with DC 12V power source so use AC 24V power source.
- Set the Line-Lock switch to the Line-Lock (OFF) mode. (Refer to page 12.)
- If screen conversion of the cameras cannot be become softly, adjust the line-lock vertical phase
using VR702 (Variable Register).
