1. UNPACK
Unpack the contents from the box
• 1 x Cocoon Bluetooth Speaker
• 1 x 3.5mm Audio Cable
• 1 x Micro USB Charging Cable
• 1 x Getting Started Guide
• 1 x Warranty Card
2. CHARGE YOUR SPEAKER
Beforerstuse,itisrecommendedthatyouchargeyourBluetoothSpeaker
for a minimum of 1 hour. Connect the supplied Micro USB charging cable to
the Micro USB port on the bottom of the Bluetooth Speaker (this is covered
by a rubber seal). Connect the other end to a spare USB port on your
laptop,computerorUSBwallcharger(notincluded).
3. POWER ON / OFF
PressandholdthePowerButtonfor3secondstoswitchonoro.
4. ACTIVATE BLUETOOTH SPEAKERS PAIRING MODE
WhiletheBluetoothSpeakeriso,pressandholdthepowerbuttondown
for3seconds.TheBluetoothSpeakerwillturnonandenterpairingmode
automatically.TheBluetoothSpeakerwillgiveanaudiocue“TheBluetooth
Device Is Ready to Pair”. When the Bluetooth Speaker has been paired to
anotherdevice,theBluetoothonthatdevicewillneedtobeturnedoto
allowanotherdevicetopair.
5. SEARCH FOR THE BLUETOOTH SPEAKER
Activate the Bluetooth feature on your MP3 player or smartphone.
Searchforthedevice“HE170611S”andpairasperyourMP3playeror
smartphone’s instruction manual.
6. SUCCESSFULLY PAIR WITH THE BLUETOOTH SPEAKER
WhentheBluetoothSpeakerissuccessfullypairedwithyourdevice
theBluetoothSpeakerwillgiveanaudiocue“TheBluetoothDeviceIs
ConnectedSuccessfully”.YourMP3playerorphonewillrememberpairing
withthespeakerforfutureuse.
7. START AUDIO PLAYBACK
Start audio playback on your phone or MP3 player. Control the volume and
track playback using the control pad located on the top of the Bluetooth
Speaker.Toincrease/decreasethevolume,holddownthe+or-buttons.To
skip songs short press the or buttons. To pause music short press the
PowerButton.

8. USING THE HANDSFREE FUNCTION
PressthePhonebuttonwhilethephoneisringingtoansweranincomingcall.
Press the Phone button to end the call.
PressandholdthePhonebuttonwhilethephoneisringingtorejectan
incoming call.
PressthePhonebuttontwicetodialyourlastnumbercalled.
9. USING THE RADIO FUNCTION
AfterturningtheBluetoothSpeakeron,quickpressthe‘M’button.The
BluetoothSpeakerwillgiveanaudiocue“TheRadioMode”.PressPlay/
PauseButtontosearchandautomaticallystoreallradiostations.Itwill
take approximately 1 minute to complete searching and storing the radio
stations.Toincrease/decreasethevolume,holddownthe+or-button.To
changebetweenstoredradiostationsshortpressthe or buttons.
NOTE: A Micro USB cable must be plugged into Micro USB port to enhance
FM reception
10. USING MICRO SD CARD FUNCTION
When a Micro SD Card is inserted into the Bluetooth Speaker this function
willstartautomatically.TheBluetoothSpeakerwillgiveanaudiocue“Music
PlayMode”.Toincrease/decreasethevolume,holddownthe+or-buttons.
To skip songs short press the or buttons. To pause music short press
thePowerButton.
11. USING THE LINE-IN FUNCTION
Insert the supplied 3.5mm Audio Cable into the AUX port on the bottom of
the Bluetooth Speaker and plug the other end into portable device.
NOTE: When AUX in cable is inserted, speaker will turn to Aux in mode
automatically
Toincrease/decreasethevolume,holddownthe+or-button.
Press‘M’buttontoswitchbetweenBluetoothmode,Radiomode,AUXin
mode and SD Card mode.
