IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use.
If this product is passed to a third party, then these instructions
must be included.
When using the product, basic safety precautions should always be
followed to reduce the risk of injury including the following:
• For domestic outdoor use only.
• This product is designed for occasional use and cannot be used as a
permanent structure.
• Do not use this product in adverse weather conditions, such as
strong winds, heavy rains and snow. Disassemble the product when
the wind speed exceeds Beaufort scale 5 (>25 mph / >40 km/h).
• A competent adult must assemble this product.
• Keep children and pets away while assembling the product.
• Take care when opening and closing this product. Keep hands away
from the folding mechanisms to prevent fingers being trapped and
pinched.
• Do not use this product without the umbrella base (not provided).
Always fill the base with sand or water.
• Keep this product away from naked flames and direct sources of
heat, such as patio heaters or barbecues.
• Never stay under the product in thunderstorms.
• Do not let children climb on or play with the product.
• Always use the product on a firm, level ground.
• Do not use this product if any parts are missing, damaged, or worn.
• Do not overtighten the fasteners.
• Regularly examine the product for wear and tear. Stop using the
product at first sign of damage or if parts become detached.

Before First Use
• Check the product for transport damages.
• Remove all the packing materials.
DANGER
Risk of suffocation! Keep any packaging materials
awayfrom children – these materials are a potential source of danger,
e.g. suffocation.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning
• To clean the product, wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth.
• Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers,
metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.
• Steel components for products are coated with rust inhibiting paint.
However, due to the nature of steel, surface oxidation (rusting) will
occur once these protective coatings are scratched. This is not a
product defect.
Maintenance
• Assemble and handle the product with care to minimize scratching
the paint.
• Should any scratching or damage occur, immediate touch-up with
rust inhibiting paint is recommended.
• Store in a cool and dry place away from children and pets, ideally in
original packaging.
• At the end of the season clean and store the product in a cool, dry
place.
