BASIC SETUP
1. Remove the projector and all of the included accessories from the packaging.
2. Place the projector on a table or stand with the front of the projector facing the direction you would like
the image to be projected. You will need to install the lens on this projector before use.
3. Lens Installation
a. Remove the front cover of the projector by loosening the two screws on the right side and the
one screw on the left side of the cover.
b. Pull the front cover straight out.
c. Insert the lens unit straight into the lens insertion section with the white circle on the lens facing
up.
d. While holding the lens firmly in place, pinch the lock lever clockwise until it is locked into place.
Check that the lens can’t be detached.
e. Replace the front cover by sliding it straight on and tightening the three screws.
4. Connect the included power cord to the projector and plug it into a nearby wall outlet or a heavy duty
extension cord.
CONNECTING YOUR SOURCE
1. Connecting Your Computer
a. To connect your laptop to the projector, connect the included VGA cable from the VGA output of
the computer to the VGA input of the projector.
b. To connect a MAC computer, you will need a MAC adapter between the computer and the VGA
cable. MAC adapter packs are available to be rented from ATS Rentals as well.
c. Power on your computer before you power on the projector. The projector should automatically
find the connected source.
2. Connecting Other Video Sources
a. To connect a DVD player or other source to the projector, connect the included HDMI cable
from the HDMI output of your source to the HDMI input of the projector.
3. To power the projector on, push down the power button on the back of the projector or on the remote.

ADJUSTING THE PROJECTED IMAGE
1. Adjusting the Position
a. Press the lens shift button on the remote or on the back of the projector until “Adjust Lens Shift”
appears on the screen.
b. To adjust the position, use the arrow button on the remote or the arrows on the back of the
projector to move the image.
c. When you are finished, press the escape button to exit.

2. Adjusting the Focus
a. Press the focus button on the remote or press the lens button on the back of the projector until
“Adjust Focus” is displayed on the screen.
b. To adjust the focus, tilt the arrow button on the remote to the left and right or use the left and
right arrow buttons on the back of the projector.
c. When you are finished, press the escape button to exit.
3. Zooming the Image
a. Press the zoom button on the remote or press the lens button on the back of the projector until
“Adjust Zoom” is displayed on the screen.
b. To zoom, use the arrow button on the remote or the arrow buttons on the back of the projector.

TROUBLESHOOTING
1. Nothing appears on the screen at all
a. Make sure the lens cap is removed from the lens.
b. Make sure there is power to the projector and that it is turned on.
c. Allow the projector and your source a moment to warm up.
d. Turn the projector all the way off and then back on. If the screen is still dark, the projector may
be malfunctioning.
2. Only a blue screen appears, no image from the source
a. Make sure the cable connecting the source and the projector is securely connected.
b. Check for any cuts or breaks in the cable. If it is a VGA cable, check for any bent pins.
c. Make sure your source is turned on and outputting an image.
d. Push the source search button on the remote to search for the correct input that your source is
connected to. The projector may have not synced up with the source when powering on.
3. The image is not bright enough
a. Close blinds, cover windows, turn off the lights to darken the room.
b. Move the projector closer to the screen if possible. This will help provide a brighter image but
the image will be smaller.

SHUTDOWN
1. Press down the power button on the back of the projector or on the remote.
2. Wait for the projector to cool down before unplugging.
