Battery Insertion/Removal
(see figure A)
Inserting the Battery
f Use only original Bosch lithium ion batteries
with the voltage listed on the nameplate of
your cordless worklight. Using other batter-
ies can lead to injuries and pose a fire hazard.
Insert a charged battery 14 into the battery
adapter 12. Take care to insert the battery in the
right position, and that the battery unlocking
button 15 can be felt to engage in the battery
adapter 12.
Removing the Battery
To remove the battery 14, press the battery un-
locking button 15 and pull the battery toward
the rear out of the cordless worklight. Do not
exert any force when doing this.
Battery Adapter (see figure B)
f Mount components to the worklight only
when the battery 14 is not inserted.
Note: When inserting a completely mounted
cordless worklight with the battery into the bat-
tery charger, the cordless worklight is automat-
ically deactivated.
Connecting the lamp head with flexible neck to
the battery adapter 12 makes a stand-lamp; con-
necting the head lamp to the connection cable-
on the universal adapter makes a head lamp, or
connecting the lamp head to the pipe clamp
makes a spotlight.
Connect the base of the flexible neck 2 or the
base of the connection cable 3 with the battery
adapter 12. Do not pull the cable!
The On/Off switch 11 as well as the operation
and charge-control indicator 10, which lights up
green as soon as a battery is inserted and the
cordless worklight is switched on, are on the
battery adapter 12. When the battery capacity is
below 25 %, the indicator lights up red.
Storage in the Protective Pouch
(see figures C–D)
The protective pouch 9 is used for storage of the
battery 14 together with the battery adapter 12.
Position the battery adapter in such a manner
that you can operate the On/Off switch 11 be-
hind the symbol on the pouch. The connection
cable 3 can be conducted through the slot in the
pouch.
The protective pouch 9 can be fastened to your
belt by the loop on its backside or to any object
with a Velcro strap.
Mounting to a Stand-lamp
(see figures B and E)
With the flexible neck 2, you can convert the
cordless worklight to a stand-lamp.
– Guide the base of the flexible neck alongside
the guide grooves in the seat of the battery
adapter 12 until it engages.
– Insert lamp head 1 into the flexible neck 2
until it engages.
– Insert the plug of the cable from the flexible
neck 2 into the socket of the lamp head 1.
– Insert a battery (see “Inserting the Battery”,
page 11).
