• MFJ-1724B is a Dual Band unity gain 144/440 MHz Magnet Mount antenna
• MFJ-1728B is a 5/8 wave, 2-Meter, Magnet Mount antenna. For 6-Meter operation, MFJ-1728B
has unity gain
• MFJ-1729 is a Dual Band gain 144/440 MHz Magnet Mount antenna
To assemble the MFJ-1724B or the MFJ- 1729 simply screw the element into the magnetic base. To
assemble the MFJ-1728B first attach the radiating element to the screw base, then screw the element
into the magnetic base.
The heavy duty magnet and 12 feet of coax cable allows you to place this antenna anywhere on your
vehicle. The coax terminates with a PL-259 connector that fits most mobile radios. A BNC adapter is
included for connection to handheld radios.
