Thank you for purchasing the Sharper Image Ultrasonic Eyeglass Cleaner. Before

using this device, please read this guide carefully and store for future reference.

Operation

1. Unpack the Ultrasonic Eyeglass Cleaner and basket from its box and plastic

wrapping.

2. Plug the device into an AC outlet. NOTE: DO NOT turn the device on before filling up

the tank with water.

3. Lift the transparent lid to expose the tank. Add water, filling it to the MAX FILL line as

clearly marked on the rear center of the tank wall.

4. Place your eyeglasses into the supplied basket, submerge it in the tank and close the

lid. NOTE: Never place items to be cleaned directly on the bottom of the ultrasonic tank.

To do so will damage the device and void the warranty.

5. Select 3-, 5- or 10-minute cleaning cycle and press the ON button to start the

cleaning process. While powered on, the device will produce powerful ultrasonic sound

waves that loosen and remove dirt, makeup, oil and grime. The Ultrasonic Eyeglass

Cleaner will shut off automatically after the time you specified. When the cleaning cycle

is over, remove the glasses and rinse them under warm water to remove any remaining

dirt. Close the lid when finished to prevent evaporation. NOTE: For extra cleaning

power, you may add a drop of mild dishwashing soap with a degreasing agent, or use a

Sparkle Pak (available at SharperImage.com, item no. 200706).

WARNING:

• DO NOT place fingers or other body parts in the tank while the Ultrasonic Eyeglass

Cleaner is operating.

• DO NOT use flammable liquids, ammonia or acid/water mixtures in the Ultrasonic

Eyeglass Cleaner, as damage may occur.

• DO NOT attempt to clean eyeglasses or jewelry with glued-in rhinestones because the

stones may become loosened and fall out. DO NOT clean or soft, water-porous or

delicate stones such as pearls, turquoise, mother-of-pearl, opals and fragile emeralds,

as damage to the stones may occur.

Jewelry Cleaning

Your Sharper Image Ultrasonic Eyeglass Cleaner can also be use to clean certain types

of jewelry, including gold, silver, platinum, diamonds, rubies, sapphires, amethyst and

citrine pieces. Simply follow steps 3-5 above. NOTE: When cleaning small items such

as diamond earrings, charms or small parts, you may use a standard household

stainless steel tea strainer placed inside the supplied basket to safely hold those items

during the cleaning process. DO NOT place items to be cleaned directly on the tank

bottom, as damage to the transducer may occur.

IMPORTANT: This device is not suitable for soft, water porous stones, such as

pearls, opals, turquoise, amber and ivory. Prior to using the Ultrasonic Eyeglass

Cleaner for cleaning jewelry, always confirm with a qualified jewelry expert if the

jewelry in question may be cleaned in an ultrasonic device. The following types of

jewelry should only be cleaned by a knowledgeable professional:

- Antique jewelry

- Enamel jewelry

- Paste jewelry (which is common with costume jewelry)

- Costume jewelry

- Jewelry containing stones that have been set with glue

Maintenance & Cleaning

• Periodically change the solution in the tank.

• Unplug the Ultrasonic Eyeglass Cleaner and remove the basket. With the lid open,

grasp the device with both hands and carefully pour the old solution into a sink. Wash

the tank with clean water and a standard household non-ammoniated, non-acidic, mild

cleaning solution and a paper towel. Rinse the tank with clean water while being careful

not to allow any water to overflow into other parts of the machine, as damage to its

electronics may result and the warranty could be voided.

• The Ultrasonic Eyeglass Cleaner outer shell may also be cleaned using a standard

household non-ammoniated, non-acidic, mild, non-abrasive cleaning solution and a

paper towel. After cleaning the outer shell, wipe off the remaining solution with a

dampened paper towel. Avoid placing too much cleaning solution on the outer shell as

the excess solution may seep into the device’s electronics, potentially causing damage.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT submerge the Ultrasonic Eyeglass Cleaner in water, as damage

to its electronics may result and the warranty will become void.

Warranty

Your Sharper Image Ultrasonic Eyeglass Cleaner features a ONE YEAR LIMITED

REPLACEMENT WARRANTY from the date of its purchase assuming the purchaser

fills out the WARRANTY REGISTRATION FORM at

www.gemoroproducts.com/warrantyregistration within 30 days of its purchase. If this

criteria is not followed, the Ultrasonic Eyeglass Cleaner will automatically be covered by

a 90 DAY LIMITED WARRANTY from the date of your ultrasonic purchase, as noted on

the bill of sale (if supplied) or through the Ultrasonic Eyeglass Cleaner serial number

tracking system as interpreted by the factory. In the event the Ultrasonic Eyeglass

Cleaner is no longer available or has been discontinued and warranty coverage is

applicable, at the factory’s sole discretion, an equivalent ultrasonic cleaner may be

substituted in place of the defective Ultrasonic Eyeglass Cleaner. The purchaser shall

incur the cost for return postage, insurance and handling for all warranty and non-

warranty repairs. Warranty repairs and/or replacements will be shipped back to the

customer FOB Destination to the location of the customer’s choosing if within the

Continental United States (U.S.). Non-warranty repairs will be shipped back to the

customer FOB Factory. Should the customer require the repair and/or replacement

unit(s) to be shipped outside the Continental U.S., the customer will be required to pay

any related shipping charges and any related taxes/duties for the respective destination

country, regardless whether it is a warranty or non- warranty claim.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: No warranties exist with respect to the Ultrasonic Eyeglass

Cleaner or its use other than those expressly contained herein. All other warranties of

any kind or character whatsoever, whether expressed or implied, including warranties of

merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby disclaimed and are

excluded from the warranties hereunder. In the event that a claim is made with respect

to the Ultrasonic Eyeglass Cleaner or its use, the maximum liability of Sharper Image,

and its affiliates, dealers and distributors shall be the amount paid for the Ultrasonic

Eyeglass Cleaner.
