will!activate!to!cut!off!the!power!supply.! !

• In!the!instance!that!the!auto!protection!has!been!activated,!discon n ec t!the!applian ce !from!the!

mains!power.!Wait!for!it!to!cool!down!completely.!Then!re-connect!it!to!mains!power!and!push!

the!ON/OF F!bu tton!to!turn!it!on!again.!

• Do!not!insert!anything!into!the!vents!of!the!appliance.!This!can!cause!an!electric!shock.!

• Never!attempt!to!lift!or!move!the!appliance!during!use.! !

• The!temperature!of!accessible!surfaces!may!be!high!when!the!appliance!is!in!use.!Do!not!touch!

the!hots!surfaces.!

• Allow!the!appliance!to!cool!down!completely!before!touching!the!top!plate.!

• Only!use!suitable!pots!and!pans!to!use!with!an!induction!cooker.! !

• Do! not! place! any! metal! materials! such! as! kitchen! cutlery,! pan! lid,! aluminum! foil! onto! the!

appliance!as!they!will!activate!the!inductive!current.!

• Noise!will!generate!when!a!pan!or !pot!made!from!come!metals!are!used.!Th is!is!safe!a nd!normal!

due!to!the!coefficient!of!thermal!expansion.!

• The!fan!inside!the!appliance!is!running!to!dissipate!heat.!The!fan!can!be!heard!during!operation!of!

the!appliance!an d!so on !after!operation!has!stopped.!

• Do! not! place! anything!between!the! top! plate!of! the!appliance!and! the! base!of!the!cooking!pot!or!

pan.!This!can!interfere!with!the!magnetic!field!of!the!cooker!and!cause!a!hazard.!

• Do!not!subject!the!appliance!to!impact!as!the!top!plate!is!very!fragile.!Do!not!use!the!appliance!

if!the!top!plate!is!cracked.!

• After!use!and!before!cleaning,!turn!off!the!appliance,!unplug!the!appliance!and!let!it!cool!down.!

Do!not!use!abrasive!cleaners!or!scourers!as!they!will!damage!the!appli ance.!

• To!clean!the!appliance ,!w ipe!the!ceramic!plate!with!a!c loth!w h ich!h a s!been!dampened!by!water!

mixed!with!a!small!amount!of!dishwashing!liquid.!Wipe!the!cooker!body!and!control!board.!

Wipe!dry!when!finished.!

• Do!not!spray!water!onto!the!appliance!directly,!do!not!immerse!the!appliance,!power!cable!or!

plug!in!water,!or!allow!them!to!come!into!contact!with!water.!

• Keep!the!appliance!clean!to!avoid!trapping!insects!into!the!fan.!

• Clean!the!air!inlet!and!the!air!outlet!with!a!damp!cotton!bud!or!swab.! !

• It!is!n o rmal!that!a ! yellow !coloured!coat!w ill!form!on!t h e!ceramic!plate!after!so m e !time.!T h is!is!

normal!and!will!not!affect!operation.!

• Improper!use!of!the!appliance!can!cause!its!damage!and!injury!to!its!user.!

Sufficient!space!is!needed!around!the!appliance!while!it!is!in!use.!Avoid!any!loose!m aterial!h anging!

Inductio n ! cooking ! is! a! cooking! method ! which ! a! coo kin g ! vessel! (p o t! or! p a n )! is! he ated! by! ma gn et ic!

inductio n!rather!than!therm a l!conduct io n !from!a!flame!of!electrical!h e ating !eleme nt!on!a !traditional!

stove!top.!A !magn etic!field!is!generated!from !the!coils!under!the !surface!of!the!cook!top!and!heat! is!

transferred!directly!into!the!pots!and!pans.!The!appliance!applies!the!heating!principle!of!the!magnetic!

field!inducing!the!wh orl!electric!current.!A!whorl!electric!current!is!a!spiral!o r!circular!pattern!of!electric!

currents.!It!ut ilse s! the!mag n etic ! field!produced ! by!the!cu rrent!pa ss in g ! t h e! loop!w h e n ! the!magn etic!

force!line!passes!the!bottom!of!the!cooking!vessel.! It!will!produce!numerous!whorl!electric!currents!

what!will!heat!the!cooking!vessel!and!the!food!inside!it!rapidly.! !

The!cooking!vessel!used!on!an!induction!cooker!must!be!made!of!or!contain!a!ferromagnetic!steel!such!

as!cast!iron!or!some!stainless!steels.!

SUITABLE!POTS/PANS!FOR!USE!WITH!THE!INDUCTION!COOKER!

Use!iron,!cast!iron,!stainless!steel!(with!high!steel!content)!pots!or!pans!with!the!induction!

cooker.!Ensure!the!diameter!is!between!12cm-26cm.!

Ensure!that!the!pots!or!pans!have!a!flat!base.!

The! induction!cooker! has! an! au tomati c! pot! checking! feature! which! will! not!allow!the!appliance!to!

operate! if! the! pot! or! pan! being! used! is! not! compatible.! When! the! power! button! is! pressed,! the!

appliance!wi ll!not!operate.!You!will!nee d!to!change !to!a!different!pot!or!pan!which! is!suitable!for!use!

with!the!induction!cooker.!

PANEL!

OPERATING!INSTRUCTION!

1. Put!the!appliance!on!top!of!a!suitable!bench!top.! !

2. Connect!the!power!plug!into!the!power!point.!

3. There!will!be!a!beep!sound!and!the!appliance!will!be!on.!The!display!will!show!“----“.!

4. Put!the!pot!or!pan!onto!the!centre!of!the!heating!zo ne.!

5. Press!the!ON/OFF!button.! !

6. The!appliance!will!begin!operation!with!the!SAUTE!mode.!The!power!level!of!2000!will!be!

shown!on!the!screen.!

7. If!required,!you!can!then!press!a!different!function!button!to!change!cooking!modes.!

8. The!power!level!can!be!manually!adjusted!when!the!appliance!is!in!SAUTE,!STEAM,!SLOW!

COOK!or!STIR-FRY!modes.! !

While!the!power!level!is!shown!on!the!screen,!press!the!arrow!buttons!to!adjust!the!

power!level.!

9. The!power!level!cannot!be!adjusted!when!the!appliance!is!in!SOUP,!MILK!or!WATER!

modes.! !

The!heating!process!in!these!modes!will!finish!automatically.!

10. PRE-SET!TIMER:!

When!the!unit!is!in!SOUP,!MILK!or!WATER!modes,!the!pre-set!timer!function!can!be!set.!

The!unit!will!begin!operation!when!count!down!time!has!finished.!

Press!the!PRE-SET!TIMER!button!once,! !

“:!00”!will!flash!on!the!display.!

Press!the!arrow!buttons!to!set!the!minutes,! !

then!press!PRE-SET!TIMER!button!again,! !

“00:”!will!flash!on!the!display,! !

then!press!the!arrow!buttons!to!set!the!hours.!

Once!you!have!made!your!countdown!time!selection,!do!not!press!any!button!for!8!

seconds.!The!time!will!then!be!set.!

The!unit!will!then!be!in!countdown!mode!and!will!start!to!heat!automatically!when!count!

down!time!has!finished.!

Remark:!If!the!PRE-SET!TIMER!button!is!pressed!a!third!time!while!the!count!down!time!is!

being!set,!the!time!setting!would!be!cancelled!and!the!unit!will!return!to!its!previous!

cooking!function.!

11. TIMER:!

When!the!unit!is!in!SAUTE,!STEAM,!SLOW!COOK!or!STIR-FRY!mode,!a!timer!can!be!set.!

The!unit!will!operate!for!the!set!time!and!then!stop!when!the!count!down!time!has!

finished.!

Press!the!PRE-SET!TIMER!button!once,! !

“:!00”!will!flash!on!the!display.!

Press!the!arrow!buttons!to!set!the!minutes,! !

then!press!PRE-SET!TIMER!button!again,! !

“00:”!will!flash!on!the!display,! !

then!press!the!arrow!buttons!to!set!the!hours.!

Once!you!have!made!your!time!selection,!do!not!press!any!button!for!8!seconds.!The!

time!will!then!be!set.!

The!unit!will!then!be!in!timer!mode!and!will!operate!for!the!amount!of!time!which!was!

set.!

Remark:!If!the!PRE-SET!TIMER!button!is!pressed!a!third!time!while!the!cooking!time!is!

being!set,!the!time!setting!would!be!cancelled!and!the!unit!will!return!to!its!previous!

cooking!function.! !

12. VOLTAGE!KWH:!When!the!unit!is!operating,!press!the!voltage!kwh!button!once!to!see!the!

voltage!figure,!press!it!again!to!see!the!power!being!used.,!you!can!check!the!voltage!

figure!or!power!be!used!up.!When!the!button!is!not!pressed!for!10!seconds,!the!display!

will!then!show!the!power!level!of!the!cooking!mode.!

13. ON/OFF:!When!the!unit!is!operating,!press!the!ON/OFF!button!the!unit!will!stop!heating!

and!enter!into!standby!mode.!

14. To!turn!the!unit!off,!disconnect!it!from!the!mains!power.!

Condition! !

Possible!cause!

No!sound!and!no!display!after!pressing!

the!on/off!button.!

1. Check!whether!the!unit!is!correctly!

plugged!into!mains!power.!

No!heating,!indicator!light!(Screen!

shows!E1)!and!cooker!stopped!in!1!

minute.!

1. Check!that!a!suitable!cooking!pot!is!

being!used.!!!

2. The!cooking!pot!must!be!placed!in!

the!centre!of!surface.!

3. The!cooking!pot!must!be!suitable!

for!an!induction!cooker.!

4. The!cooking!pot!must!be!within!12!

–!26!cm!diameter.!

No!heating,!indicator!light!(Screen!

shows!E2)!cooker!stopped.!

This!means!the!electric!supply!voltage!

is!lower!than!165V.!Try!again!when!

voltage!recovers!to!165V～253V.!

No!heating,!indicator!light!(Screen!

shows!E3)!

This!means!the!electric!supply!voltage!

is!higher!than!253V.!Remove!the!plug!

from!outlet!and!try!again!when!voltage!

recover!to!165V～253V.!

No!heating,!indicator!light!(Screen!

shows!E4)!and!cooker!stopped.!

This!means!the!cooking!pot!has!

overheated,!let!it!cool!and!try!again.!

Use!fixed!temperature!when!frying,!

stir-frying,!roasting!or!deep-frying.! !

No!heating,!indicator!light!(Screen!

show!E6)!and!cooker!stopped.!

This!means!that!the!pot!has!boiled!dry.! !

Do!not!allow!the!pot!to!boil!dry.!

Use!fixed!temperature!when!frying,!

stir-frying,!roasting!or!deep-frying.!

shows!E0)!and!cooker!stopped.!

The!temperature!is!too!hot!inside!the!

cooker!or!PCB!at!fault.!

Check!the!air!vent!is!not!obstructed!

and!fan!is!running!in!good!order!and!

condition.!
