ELECTRICAL SAFETY
SPECIFICATIONS
This appliance is equipped with a polarized plug in which 1 prong is wider
than the other. This is a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock.
The plug should be aached to the appliance before connecng to an
electrical outlet. The plug will t into a polarized outlet only 1 way. If you
are unable to insert the plug into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If it sll
does not t, contact a qualied electrician. DO NOT aempt to modify the
plug in any way. Ginnys cannot accept any liability for damage or injury
resulng from failure to observe these safety procedures.

Before rst use, we recommend that you run the griddle (with
no food) for 5 minutes and the toaster (with no bread) at
browning level 7 to eliminate any packing or factory residue.
Minor smoke or odor is normal.
MAKING TOAST
1. Plug the cord into an electrical outlet.
2. Set the browning dial to the desired level (1 is the lightest, 7 is the
darkest).
3. Put bread into the slots and press down on the carriage lever. Bread will
toast and pop up when nished.
4. Press CANCEL at any me to stop toasng.
5. Unplug the cord from the electrical outlet when nished.
REHEATING COLD TOAST
Follow the instrucons 1–3 above then press REHEAT.
TOASTING FROZEN BREAD
Follow the instrucons 1–3 above then press DEFROST.
USING THE GRIDDLE
1. Plug the cord into an electrical outlet.
2. Remove the steamer and lid.
3. Preheat the griddle by seng the mer dial (0–15 minutes). The power
light will come on.
4. Add a lile oil or buer per your recipe, and place the food on the griddle.
Cook the food and/or use the lid per your recipe.
5. When nished, set the mer to 0.
6. Remove the food and unplug the cord from the electrical outlet.

USING THE STEAMER
1. Plug the cord into an electrical outlet.
2. Add water to the griddle; MAXIMUM 1 cup will steam about 20 minutes.
3. Carefully place the steamer on the griddle. Add food and cover with the
lid.
4. Begin steaming by seng the mer dial (0–15 minutes) per your recipe.
The power light will come on.
5. When nished, set the mer to 0.
6. Carefully remove the food and unplug the cord from the electrical outlet.

CLEANING & CARE
1. Turn o and unplug the appliance.
2. Always allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
3. Remove the steamer and lid. Wash these items in warm soapy water or
in a dishwasher (top rack only).
4. DO NOT use abrasive brushes, pads or cleaning soluons.
5. Use a so cloth, sponge or rubber spatula to remove any stuck-on food or
residue.
6. Wipe the griddle with a wet cloth and mild detergent. Rinse with a clean
wet cloth.
7. Remove the crumb tray from the back of the toaster and wipe it with a
damp cloth.
8. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
9. DO NOT immerse any cord, plug or electrical appliance into water.
10. Ensure all parts are dried thoroughly before reassembling and using
this appliance.

RECIPES

4 eggs 1 Tbsp. onion, minced
salt & pepper 1 fresh mushroom, sliced
1 tsp. buer 1 slice deli ham, chopped
1 Tbsp. bell pepper, minced ¼ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1. To avoid cross contaminaon, wash hands and utensils aer touching raw
eggs.
2. In a small bowl, beat the eggs. Add salt & pepper to taste.
3. Turn on the griddle to 15 minutes. Melt the buer and brown the peppers
and onions for 1-2 minutes. Set the onions and peppers aside.
4. Pour the eggs on the griddle and cook unl browning on the boom. Li
the cooked eggs with a plasc spatula to allow the uncooked eggs to ow
down onto the skillet.
5. When the egg is mostly cooked, add the peppers, onions, mushrooms,
ham and cheese to one half of the eggs.
6. Use a plasc spatula to fold over the half without the ham and veggies.
7. Connue to cook and ip the omelet unl both sides are nicely browned
and cheese is melted.
8. Serve with toast.

2 slices whole-wheat bread salt & pepper
1 tsp. buer 1 ripe avocado, halved
2 eggs hot sauce
1. To avoid cross contaminaon, wash hands and utensils aer touching raw
eggs.
2. Adjust the browning dial to desired seng and put bread down to toast.
3. Turn on the griddle to 5 minutes and melt the buer. Add the eggs and
cook over-easy unl yolks are solid. Salt & pepper to taste.
4. When the toast is done, spread on the avocado evenly with a knife.
5. Top each piece with an egg.
6. Serve with hot sauce.

4 hard-boiled eggs, peeled & chopped 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 Tbsp. onions, minced salt & pepper
¼ cup mayonnaise 2 Tbsp. chives, chopped
1 tsp. hot curry powder
1. In a medium bowl, blend the rst 5 ingredients well.
2. Add salt & pepper to taste, along with the chives. Sr unl mixed.
3. Serve on toast, crackers or salad greens.
Serves 4

4 slices of Italian bread 8 oz. low fat cream cheese, soened
6 leaves of fresh basil, minced 4 fresh, large tomato slices
1–2 tsp. minced garlic extra virgin olive oil
1. Toast the bread.
2. Set aside half of the basil for garnish.
3. Mix the remaining basil, garlic and cream cheese unl smooth.
4. When toast is done, spread with the cream cheese mixture.
5. Top each piece of toast with a slice of tomato, garnish with minced basil
and drizzle with olive oil.
6. Salt and pepper to taste.

12 eggs, hard boiled & peeled ½ tsp. hot pepper akes
2 Tbsp. onion, nely minced 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
¼ cup mayonnaise salt & pepper
2 Tbsp. prepared Dijon mustard paprika, for sprinkling
½ tsp. Worcestershire sauce 6 oz. can black olives, drained
1 tsp. dried dill weed
1. Cut eggs in half and carefully scoop the yolks into a medium mixing
bowl. Set aside the whites.
2. To the yolks, add onion, mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, dill,
pepper akes and lemon juice. Add salt & pepper to taste.
3. Mash the mixture together with a fork (use a hand blender or mixer to
blend unl smooth, if desired).
4. Put the yolk mixture into a small plasc bag (like a sandwich bag) and cut
o one corner ½" with scissors.
5. Squeeze the yolk mixture (use like a piping bag) into the egg white halves,
sprinkle with paprika and top with an olive (or half an olive).
6. Refrigerate about 20 minutes before serving.

1 cup water 1" ginger, minced
2 thin skinless chicken breasts ¼ cup soy sauce
salt & pepper 1 Tbsp. rice vinegar
10 oz. canned pineapple chunks in juice 1 tsp. sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, minced 1 head of broccoli orets
1. Wash hands with soap and water. DO NOT rinse raw poultry. To avoid
cross contaminaon, wash hands and utensils aer touching raw poultry.
2. Put the water in the griddle and add the steamer.
3. Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper (both sides) and place in the
steamer. Cover and steam for 20 minutes.
4. While the chicken is steaming, heat the pineapple (and juice), garlic,
ginger, soy sauce, vinegar and oil over medium heat in a saucepan on the
stovetop. Sr well.
5. Add the broccoli to the saucepan, cover and cook 3–5 minutes. Remove
from heat.
6. Remove the chicken from the steamer (chicken is done when internal
temperature reaches 165° F) and shred with 2 forks. Toss the chicken into
the pineapple mixture and serve hot.

1 cup water ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
2 small salmon llets 1 tsp. lemon juice
salt & pepper 1 tsp. dried dill weed
10 spears of asparagus, trimmed
1. To avoid cross contaminaon, wash hands and utensils aer touching raw
seafood.
2. Put the water in the griddle and add the steamer.
3. Sprinkle the salmon with salt and pepper and place in the steamer, skin
down.
4. Put the asparagus spears on top of the salmon, cover and steam for
10 minutes.
5. To make the yogurt sauce, mix together the yogurt, lemon juice and dill
in a small bowl. Salt & pepper to taste.
6. Remove the asparagus and salmon from the steamer (salmon should ake
easily with a fork when done).
7. Drizzle the yogurt sauce over all and serve.

Ginny’s warrants this product free from defects in material and
workmanship for one year from provable date of purchase.
Within this warranty period, Ginny’s will repair or replace, at its opon,
defecve parts at no charge provided the product is returned freight
prepaid with proof of purchase to Ginnys. Allow 2–4 weeks for return
shipping.
This warranty does not cover improper installaon, misuse, abuse or neglect
on part of the owner. Warranty is also invalid in any case that the product is
taken apart or serviced by an unauthorized service staon.

state to state.
