Apple MagSafe: The MagSafe Airline Adapter powers your Apple portable computer while in-flight, connecting to the EmPower port near your airline seat. It's compatible with all Apple laptops with a MagSafe power adapter port. An additional adapter included in the kit allows you to connect to 20 mm in-seat power ports on some airlines. However, using the MagSafe Airline Adapter in a car won't provide power or charge the battery. For safety, unplug the adapter before leaving your seat and avoid spilling liquids on it. Refer to your computer's user guide for more safety and regulatory information.

MagSafe Airline Adapter
The MagSafe Airline Adapter works with all Apple portable computers that have the
MagSafe power adapter port. Plug the MagSafe Airline Adapter into the EmPower port
nearest your airline seat. Plug the other end into your computer’s MagSafe port.
Note:
Using the MagSafe Airline Adapter provides power for your computer but does
not charge the battery.
Safety
Unplug the MagSafe Airline Adapter before leaving your seat, to avoid tripping over
the cable. Be careful not to spill liquid on the MagSafe Airline Adapter. For general
safety and regulatory information, see the users guide that came with your computer.

Other Power Sources
Some airlines may have 20 mm in-seat power ports that require the use of an
additional adapter (included in the kit).
To attach the 20 mm adapter to the MagSafe Airline Adapter, align the airplane logos
and slide the adapters together. Then insert the 20 mm adapter into a 20 mm port.

Warning:
Never plug the MagSafe Airline Adapter, with or without the 20 mm
adapter or third-party adapter, into an automobiles cigarette lighter or auxiliary
power socket. Using the MagSafe Airline Adapter in a car won’t provide power to the
computer or charge the battery.
