•Followallwarningsandinstructionsmarkedonthedevice.
•Donotplacethedeviceonanyunstablesurface(cart,stand,table,etc.).Ifthe
device falls, serious damage will result.
•Donotusethedevicenearwater.
•Donotplacethedevicenear,orover,radiatorsorheatregisters.Thedevicecabinet
isprovidedwithslotsandopeningstoallowforadequateventilation.Toensure
reliableoperation,andtoprotectagainstoverheating,theseopeningsmustneverbe
blockedorcovered.
•Thedeviceshouldneverbeplacedonasoftsurface(bed,sofa,rug,etc.)asthiswill
blockitsventilationopenings.Likewise,thedeviceshouldnotbeplacedinabuilt-in
enclosureunlessadequateventilationhasbeenprovided.
•Neverspillliquidofanykindonthedevice.
•Unplugthedevicefromthewalloutletbeforecleaning.Donotuseliquidoraerosol
cleaners.Useadampclothforcleaning.
•Thedeviceshouldbeoperatedfromthetypeofpowersourceindicatedonthe
markinglabel.Ifyouarenotsureofthetypeofpoweravailable,consultyourdealer
or local power company.
•Donotallowanythingtorestonthepowercordorcables.Routethepowercord
andcablessothattheycannotbesteppedonortrippedover.
•Ifanextensioncordisusedwiththisdevice,makesurethatthetotalampererating
ofallproductsusedonthiscorddoesnotexceedtheextensioncordampererating.
Makesurethatthetotalratingofallproductspluggedintothewalloutletdoesnot
exceed15amperes.
•Positionsystemcablesandpowercablescarefully;besurethatnothingrestsonany
cables.
•Tohelpprotectyoursystemfromsuddentransientincreasesanddecreasesin
electrical power, it is recommended that you plug your devices into a Tripp Lite
SurgeSuppressor,LineConditioner,orUninterruptiblePowerSupply(UPS).
•Whenconnectingordisconnectingpowertohot-pluggablepowersupplies,observe
the following guidelines:
>Installthepowersupplybeforeconnectingthepowercabletothepowersupply.
>Unplugthepowercablebeforeremovingthepowersupply.
>Ifthesystemhasmultiplesourcesofpower,disconnectpowerfromthesystem
byunpluggingallpowercablesfromthepowersupplies.
•Neverpushobjectsofanykindintoorthroughcabinetslots.Theymaytouch
dangerousvoltagepointsorshortoutparts,resultinginariskofreorelectrical
shock.
•Ifthefollowingconditionsoccur,unplugthedevicefromthewalloutletandbringit
toqualiedservicepersonnelforrepair.
>Thepowercordorplughasbecomedamagedorfrayed.
>Liquidhasbeenspilledintothedevice.
>Thedevicehasbeenexposedtorainorwater.
>Thedevicehasbeendroppedorthecabinethasbeendamaged.
>Thedeviceexhibitsadistinctchangeinperformance,indicatinganeedforservice.
> The device does not operate normally when the operating instructions are followed.
