Shure 700D is a semi-directional microphone suitable for high-quality public address, broadcasting, recording, and industrial applications. The microphone has an unusually good frequency response and will provide sound reproduction of exceptional quality. It is semi-directional with a polar characteristic like the one in the picture below. For the best reproduction, the source of the sound should be included within a total angle of approximately 90 degrees at the front of the microphone.
