Product Article Letter

This letter is in response to your request for a copy of the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)

for:

3M™ Scotchcal™ High Tack Graphic Film IJ39

This product is not required to have a MSDS under the Occupational Health and Safety

Administration Hazard Communication Standard, 29 C.F.R. 1910.1200 (b) (6) (IV), and 3M has

not prepared a MSDS for this product.

This product, when used under reasonable conditions or in accordance with the 3M directions for

use, should not present a health and safety hazard. However, use or processing of this product in

a manner not in accordance with the product’s directions for use may affect the performance of

the products and may present potential health and safety hazards.

This product is considered to be an article as defined by the Federal Occupational Safety and

Health Administration. An "article" means a manufactured item, other than a fluid or particle: (i)

Which is formed to a specific shape or design during manufacture; (ii) which has end use

function(s) dependent in whole or in part upon its shape or design during end use; and (iii) which

under normal conditions of use does not release more than very small quantities, e.g. minute or

trace amounts, of a hazardous chemical and does not pose a physical hazard or health risk to

employees.
