1. TLD (1.2 : 1) LENS FIXATION SCREWS
1.1 Description
Domain of application
This InfoT is only intended for the TLD + (1.2 :1) lens with number R9840775 .
Fixation screws
The fixation screws of the rear lens element may become loose due to transportation. This
isduetothefactthattheusedscrewsaretooshort.

1.2 Solution
Replacing the screws
A new kit has been create d to replace the existing screw s by a longer version.

The old (M2x5) screws and the new (M2x7) screws

small plastic bag with the four M2x7 screws
The adaptation has to be done only in case of a loose lens element. If the
screws did not come loose after transportation, they will probably not
come loose anymore.
Necessary tools
Phillips screwdriver (M2)
Necessary parts
delivered (M2x7) screws (4x)
How to mount the new screws ?
1.Loosen and remove the first screw (image 1-3)
Caution:Do not loosen the other 3 screws, they must remain tightene d. Loosening all the
screws at the same
timewillmakethelensbarrelcomelooseandwilldecrease
the lens performa nce !
2.Replace the first s crew by the new (longer) one
3.Do the same for the other screws by loosening and replacing each time only one screw

It is recommended to glue the screws. Do not use too much glue as this
may damage the lens !
