Installation Instructions

1. Remove four pieces of brass trim from packaging.

2. Locate four adjusting plates with set screws and

four shims in the hardware packet. Shipped with

compact replace.

contact the dealer where you purchased this kit

or DESA Heating Products at 1-866-672-6040

for referral information.

3. Align shim under adjusting plate as shown in

Figure 1.

4. Slide one end of adjusting plate/shim in slot on

mitered edge of top brass trim (see Figure 1).

5. Slide other end of adjusting plate/shim in slot on

mitered edge of side brass trim (see Figure 1).

6. While rmly holding edges of brass trim to-

gether, tighten both screws on the adjusting plate

using a slotted screwdriver.

7. Repeat steps 1 through 6 for other 3 corners.

8. Refer to owner’s manual for installation of

heater.

9. Place the assembled trim onto rebox cabinet.

Align hanging notches on trim with hanging

screws on side of rebox (see Figure 2). Tap trim

rmly into place with palm of hand by engaging

hanging notches around shoulder screws. Start

at one end of the trim and work around rebox

until all notches are fully engaged.
