opted for a high quality product.
1. General Information
1.1 Read and retain the operating manual
This operating manual contains important information regarding the safe use of the
device as well as details on day-to-day use and disposal. Carefully familiarize
yourself with the operating manual, paying special attention to the safety instructions
before using the device, and use them only for the application areas and purposes
described. If you give the device away or sell them, please ensure that you also pass on the
operating manual. It is part of the product.
1.2 Explanation of symbols used
The following symbols and signal words are used in this operating manual, on the device, or on the
packaging.

2. Safety
2.1 Intended use
This fan is intended to circulate air for cooling. The fan must not be used outside of closed rooms or
in regions with a tropical climate. The fan is not intended for business or commercial use. Use the
fan solely for private purposes in living areas; any other use is deemed improper. Only use the
accessories specified by the manufacturer.
Please observe the national regulations and/or laws of the country in which the device is used.

2.2 Safety Instructions
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put in water
or other liquid.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used
by or near children.
4. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
5. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug
or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged
in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized
service facility for examination, repair or electrical or
mechanical adjustment.
7. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
8. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
9. Do not use appliance for any purpose other than its intended
use.
10. This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown
fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse
blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Replace the fuse as
per the user servicing instructions (follow product marking for
proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement
fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present and the product

should be discarded or returned to an authorized service facility
for examination and/or repair.

Personal safety
This fan can be used by children aged eight and over, as well
as by people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental
abilities, or who lack experience and knowledge, providing
they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of
the fan and understand the resulting dangers. Children must
not play with the fan. Cleaning and user maintenance must not
be carried out by children unless they are supervised. Also
keep the packaging film away from children. There is a risk of
suffocation.
Risk of electric shock!
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is
intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not
fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this
safety feature.

Protect the product against wetness and humidity as well as
dripping or splashed water. Never immerse the product in
water or any other liquid!
Should a liquid get into the product, disconnect the plug
immediately. Have the product inspected by an appropriate
specialist before using it again.
Do not operate the product with moist or wet hands.
Do not reach for the product if it is in water or any other liquid.
In such a case, immediately disconnect the plug from the
socket.
Do not use the product if the power plug or connecting cable
is damaged, the product is not working properly or has been
dropped or immersed in water, or in case of any other
damage. Contact an appropriate specialist for repair in such
cases.
Only connect the product to a socket that is properly installed
and easily accessible, with a mains voltage that corresponds
to the section ‘Technical data.’ The socket must continue to be
easily accessible after connecting the product.
Ensure that the power cable cannot be damaged by sharp
edges or hot surfaces.
When using the product, make sure the connecting cable is
not pinched or crushed.

Even after it has been switched off, the product is not fully
disconnected from the power supply. To do so, disconnect the
plug from the socket. Always pull on the plug, never on the
cable.
Disconnect the plug from the socket:
o If a fault occurs
o When you are not using the product
o During assembly
o Before cleaning the product
o During thunderstorms
Do not attempt to repair the product yourself. In case of a
defect, switch the product off, disconnect the plug, and contact
our Customer Service.
If the connecting cable of this product is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, their service department, or by
a similarly qualified person in order to prevent any hazards.
Risk of injury!
Do not stick your fingers or any objects into the product during
operation.
Do not use the product in the vicinity of explosive or
inflammable substances.

Never operate the product without the protective grilles.
Keep hair, clothing, and objects away from the protective
grilles during operation.
Do not transport the product while it is in operation.
Damage to property!
This product is not intended for operation with an external
timer or a separate remote control system.
Never set the product onto hot surfaces (such as a stove top)
or near heat sources or open flame.
Only use the original accessories.
Do not hang or mount the product on the ceiling or wall.
Only operate the product on a flat, stable surface.
Never operate the product in the vicinity of highly flammable
materials such as curtains, drapes, and the like. Keep the
product at least 50 cm away from flammable and combustible
materials on all sides.
The product must not be exposed to direct sources of heat
(such as heaters), direct sunlight, or direct artificial light. Also
avoid contact with splashing and dripping water as well as
aggressive liquids. Do not use the product in the vicinity of

water. In particular, the product must never be immersed (do
not place any objects filled with liquids, for example vases or
drinks, on the product). Also make sure that the product is not
exposed to excessive shocks and vibrations. Furthermore, no
foreign bodies should penetrate into the device.

the fan and a number key. The numbers identify the following parts/functions:

7. Before Initial Use
7.1 Unpacking
Remove the product from the packaging.
Remove all packaging materials entirely.
Check the package contents for completeness. Contact Service immediately in case of
missing components.
7.2 Assembly
Set the base (10) onto the motor unit (8). Now attach it with the four supplied screws (11).
Unscrew the protective grille nut (5) counter-clockwise from the motor unit (8).
Set the rear protective grille (6) onto the motor unit (8). To do so, set the two narrow slotted
holes of the rear protective grille (6) onto the pins of the motor unit (8). Make sure that the
carrying handle (7) of the rear protective grille (6) points up.
Attach the rear protective grille (6) to the motor unit (8) with the protective grille nut (5). To
do so, tighten the protective grille nut (5) clockwise.

Remove the thread protector from the drive shaft of the motor unit (8). Then slide the rotor
blade (4) onto the motor unit (8). Make sure that the recess on the rotor blade (4) engages
in the pin of the drive shaft on the motor unit (8).
Attach the rotor blade (4) to the motor unit (8) with the rotor blade nut (3). To do so, tighten
the rotor blade nut (3) counter-clockwise.
Remove the nut (13) and the screw (14) from the front protective grille (1).
Hang the front protective grille (1) onto the rear protective grill (6). Make sure that the hole
in the frame of the front protective grille (1) lies over the hole of the rear protective grille (6).
Insert the supplied screw (14) into the hole in the frame of the front (1) and rear protective
grille (6) and attach it with the help of the nut (13). Then close the hinges (2) of the front
protective grille (1) so that they engage on the frame of the rear protective grille (6).
7.3 Fuse change (in case of a defect)
a) Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on
cord.
b) Open fuse cover. Slide open fuse access cover on top of attachment plug towards blades.
c) Remove fuse carefully.
d) Pry the fuse out of the socket with a small screwdriver.
e) Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with 2.5 Amp, 125 Volt fuse (provided with product).
f) Close fuse cover. Slide closed the fuse access cover on top of attachment plug.
8. Initial Use
8.1 Switching the Fan On and Off
Proceed as follows to put the fan into operation:
Place the fan on a level, stable surface.
Connect the plug to a properly installed socket.
Turn the fan on by selecting one of the three speed levels on the control panel (12):
o Level 1, low: Press button 1
o Level 2, medium: Press button 2
o Level 3, high: Press button 3
Press button 0 to turn the fan off.

8.2 Oscillation
The fan can oscillate horizontally:
Push the oscillation pin (9) in to turn oscillation on.
Pull the oscillation pin (9) out to turn oscillation off.
You can manually adjust the vertical fan angle.
9. Cleaning and Care
Risk of electric shock!
Disconnect the fan from the mains network prior to cleaning.
Never immerse the fan in water.
Do not allow water or cleaning agents to run into the fan.
Maintenance work is required if the fan has been damaged, for example if the device housing is
damaged, liquids or objects have gotten inside the fan, or if the fan has been exposed to rain or
moisture. Maintenance work is also required if the device does not work properly or has been
dropped. If you notice any smoke, unusual noises, or smells, disconnect the fan from the mains
network immediately. In such cases you must stop using the fan until it has been checked by a
technician. All maintenance work should only be carried out by qualified specialists. Never
disassemble the housing of the fan yourself. Clean the fan using a clean, slightly damp cloth and
never use aggressive liquids. Use some washing up-liquid on the damp cloth for stubborn stains.

10. Environmental information and disposal
Disposal of packaging
Sort the packaging prior to disposal. Dispose of the packaging with the local utility
company.
Disposal of used devices
Do not dispose of used devices together with household waste! If at any time in the
future you should not use this device anymore, please dispose of it in compliance
with the applicable regulations in your state or country. This ensures professional
recycling of used devices and excludes negative consequences for the environment.
Make sure that the disposal is in compliance with local regulations and EPA
recommendations (www.epa.gov).

11. Warranty
3 years limited warranty
What does this warranty cover?
The warranty covers:
Damage, breakage or inoperability due to defect.
Damage not caused by normal wear and tear or failure to follow the safety and maintenance
instructions provided in the user manual.
What is not covered by the warranty?
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
Normal wear and tear of the product, including fragile parts (such as switches, glass, etc.);
Improper use or transport;
Disregarding safety and maintenance instructions;
Accidents or acts of nature (e.g. lightning, fire, water, etc.);
Tampering with the product (such as removing cover, unscrewing screws etc.)
Consequential and incidental damages are also not covered under this warranty. However, some
states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this
limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
What is the period of coverage and warranty resolution?
The warranty is for 3 years from the date of purchase. At our discretion, product will either be
refunded or replaced.
What will we not do?
We will not:
Start a new warranty period upon product exchange;
Repair product.
