REQUIRED TOOLS AND SUPPLIES
T20 Torx Key Driver
TURN OFF THE GAS SUPPLY TO THE APPLIANCE. DISCONNECT
ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY.
READ ALL THE STEPS BEFORE STARTING THE INSTALLATION
NOTE: THE FIREPLACE MUST BE OFF AND COLD BEFORE BEGINNING.
ALL WARNINGS, PRECAUTIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS IN THE INSTAL-
LATION AND OPERATION MANUAL PROVIDED WITH THE APPLIANCE
APPLY TO THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The replacement thermocouple and igniter electrode kits covered
by this document are designed to provide the qualified installer
the ability to replace the thermocouple and/or igniter electrode on
existing IHP fireplaces with EcoFlow systems.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1. Using a Torx T20 key, remove the screw from the base of the pilot.
See Figures 1 and 2.

Step 2. Remove the bracket that holds the igniter electrode and the ther-
mocouple in place. See Figure 3.

and the sparker are in
place, make sure that the
bracket fits in the grooves
of the thermocouples and
sparker.
3rd step
•Slide the thermocouple
and the sparker out.
•Change the
thermocouple and/or
the sparker

Step 3. Remove thermocouple and/or igniter electrode. See Figure 4.
Step 4. Install the new thermocouple and/or igniter electrode. Ensure
that the bracket fits in the grooves of the thermocouple and/or
igniter electrode. See Figure 5.
Step 5. Tighten the screw until the bracket is secure.
