If this controller is the primary controller for your network, resetting it will result in the
nodes in your network being orphaned and it will be necessary after the reset to exclude
and re-include all of the nodes in the network. If this controller is being used as a
secondary controller in the network, use this procedure to reset this controller only in the
event that the network primary controller is missing or otherwise inoperable.

3. Gateway Installation
3.1 Plug the network operator's broadband network cable into the WAN port of the wireless router, take a
network cable, plug one end into any LAN port of the router, and plug the other end into the WAN port
of the gateway, then connect both the router and the gateway on the power, note: The power adapter
supplied to the gateway must output a DC voltage of 5V and a current of 1A or more.
3.2 Wait until the three indicators POWER , WAN and WiFi of the gateway (the WAN and WiFi
indicators can blink) are long bright, indicating that the gateway communication is normal and can be
used.
4. Installation of Application Software WinKa APK
4.1 Use Android mobile phone to download the Winka APK installation package provided by the WinKa
manufacturer or scan the two-dimensional code outside the package box, to install the Winka APK on
Android mobile phone, the installation method is the same as general application APK , waiting for the
completion of installation.
4.2 Open the mobile phone settings, open the WiFi function, search for SSID of the wireless router WiFi
signal (for example, wireless router SSID is TP-LINK_1502), enter the WiFi password, clicks
connect.(Refer to: Figure 1 - 6)

5. The Operation of Application Software WinKa Sysit APK
5.1 User Information Registration
5.1.1 Open the gateway APP which has been installed on the mobile phone, the first picture of the following
screen shot will appear if you open the APP at the first time, followed by slide to the left, the following
2 pages will appear (Refer to: Figure 7 - 9), clicks "Skip" at the lower right corner of the page to enter
the following "User info" interface (Refer to: Figure 10).

5.1.2 At this point, APP entered into the "User info" interface (Refer to: Figure 10), enter the user name you
have set in "User Name", enter the email address where you can log in to receive the message in
"Please Enter The Email", and then clicks "OK", then it will indicate successful registration, please
enter the email for activation, at this time, the system will send a mail to the mailbox just entered, open
the mail and clicks the link to activate (Refer to: Figure 11), and then clicks "Continue to Visit", at this
time, it shows "Activate successfully", indicating that the user information is set successfully.

5.1.3 Enter the Include Gateway Settings after the user information is set, clicks "Lan Search" (Refer to:
Figure 12), APP will automatically search the gateway UUID, for example: 015E727179E98F2 (Refer
to: Figure 13), and then clicks to include, at this time the user can set the name of a gateway to input,
such as Winka, then clicks "OK" (Refer to: Figure 14), and then clicks the icon below , you will
enter the home page of the gateway APP (Refer to: Figure 15).

5.2.1 Network Settings Management
5.2.1.1 Gateway Connection: User clicks in the home page (Refer to: Figure 16). The name of the
gateway just set, such as "Winka", will pop up, then clicks the gateway name "Winka" (Refer to:
Figure 17). At this point, "Is LAN Control Gateway" or "The Cloud Network Is Available" will be
prompted at the bottom of the homepage. The icon on the top left will turn green (Refer to:
Figure 18), indicating that the gateway connection is successful, red means that the gateway is not
connected, green means that the gateway connection is successful, then the user can use the gateway
normally (Note: You have to first clicks the when opening the APP at each time, then clicks the
gateway name to connect the gateway, and then perform other operations).

5.2.1.2 Gateway Include, Exclude and System Settings: The user clicks in the home page to pop up
a menu of three options including "Include Gateway", "Exclude Gateway" and "Setting" (Refer to:
Figures 19-20).

5.2.1.2.1 Include Gateway: User clicks the menu, the "Include Gateway" interface will pop up (Refer to:
Figure 21 - 22), the operation is the same as the above settings of Include Gateway (see 5.1 the
third point of user registration for details).

5.2.1.2.2 Exclude Gateway: The user clicks the menu, the "Exclude Gateway" interface will pop up, and
then the user clicks in the interface to exclude the gateway (Refer to: Figure 23 - 24).

5.2.1.2.3 Setting: The user clicks on this menu to pop up a menu of a total of eight options including “User
info”, “System”, “Unit Convert”, “Edit Gateway”, “Z-WAVE Controller Reset”, “Z-WAVE
Controller Learning Mode”, “Set Gateway Time zones”, and “Refresh Gateway Data” (Refer to:
Figure 25 - 26).

5.2.1.2.3.1 User info: Users click the menu, to pop up “User info” interface (Refer to: Figure 27 - 28), the
user can register or log in user information (see 5.1 User Information Registration for details).

5.2.1.2.3.2 System: Users click the menu, to pop up “System interface (Refer to: Figure 29 - 30), the
interface shows: APP version number, gateway version number and current local time.

5.2.1.2.3.2.1 In the home page of the mobile phone, the user clicks the Winka APP icon of this gateway
(Refer to: Figure 31) enter into the APP home page, if there is a prompt box of "Update App
Version" (Refer to: Figure 32), it indicates that there is the latest APP upgrade, and the user
needs to upgrade the APP, click "OK" in the prompt box and follow the prompts for operation;
If the user clicks "Cancel", it will directly exit the APP and return to the homepage of the
mobile phone; After the APP is upgraded successfully, the user can check the latest version of
the APP in the above "System" interface.

5.2.1.2.3.2.2 In the "System" interface, if the gateway firmware version has a green download arrow icon
(Refer to: Figure 33), indicating that there is upgrade of the latest gateway firmware, the user
can click the green download arrow, to conduct the gateway firmware upgrade; After the
gateway firmware is upgraded successfully, the user can check the latest version of the gateway
firmware in the "System" interface.

5.2.1.2.3.3 Unit Convert: The user clicks this menu to pop up the "Unit Convert" interface, and the user can
click "Metric" or "Imperial" for unit conversion (Refer to: Figure 34 - 35), such as conversion of
degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit and so on.

5.2.1.2.3.4 Edit Gateway: User clicks the menu, the "Gateway list" interface will pop up(Refer to: Figure 36
- 37), the user can modify the gateway name in this menu, click the UUID of the gateway, enter
the new gateway name in the "Name" box, click "OK" to confirm the change, and then click
to return to the home page, the new name of the gateway is modified (Refer to: Figure 38), at this
moment, the old name gateway will be disconnected, and then the user needs to click to
reconnect to the new name of the gateway (see details: 5.2.1 The first point of network settings
management).

5.2.1.2.3.5 Z-WAVE Controller Reset: The user clicks the menu, the "Warning Dialog" interface can pop up
(Refer to: Figure 39 - 40). After the user clicks "OK" to confirm the reset, the gateway will be
disconnected and the user needs to click again (Refer to: Figure 41) Connect to the gateway
(see 5.2.1 the first point of Network Settings Management), at this time, all data such as
equipment, scenes, rooms and arming in the gateway will be cleared.

5.2.1.2.3.6 Z-WAVE Controller Learning Mode: This menu requires the user to use two controllers
together, in the same LAN, and the current controller can be included or excluded by other
controllers.
5.2.1.2.3.6.1 Controllers – Learn Mode
5.2.1.2.3.6.1.1 If the controller itself has a SIS role and no internal device node, click Z-WAVE Controller
Learning Mode in APP to enter learning mode so that the current controller can be included
or excluded by another controller.
5.2.1.2.3.6.1.2 If the controller itself has a SIS role and an internal device node, then the learning mode
cannot be entered.
5.2.1.2.3.6.1.3 If the role of controller itself is an Inclusion Controller, the internal device can enter learning
mode regardless of whether there is a device node or not, and can be included or excluded
from other controller networks.
5.2.1.2.3.6.2 Controllers - Including the DUT

5.2.1.2.3.6.2.1 If the role of Controller A itself is SIS and has no internal nodes, you can click the "Include
Device" menu on the UI interface of the Controller B (Refer to: Figure 42). Click "Z-WAVE
Controller Learning Mode" on the UI interface of the Controller A (Refer to: Figure 43, in this
case, the node information inside the Controller B can be replicated to the Controller A, the UI
interface of the Controller A APP can view the node information of the Controller B, and the A
role becomes the Inclusion Controller.

5.2.1.2.3.6.2.2 If the Controller A itself is the Inclusion Controller role and the Controller B is any role of
SIS / Inclusion Controller, first click the “Exclude Device” menu in the UI interface of the
Controller B APP (Refer to: Figure 44). Click "Z-WAVE Controller Learning Mode" on the
UI interface of controller A APP (Refer to: Figure 45), at this moment, the role of Controller
A is excluded first and converted into SIS role, and then the operation of F.2.1 above can be
entered.

5.2.1.2.3.6.2.3 When the gateway device is a Secondary role, the network settings such as include, exclude,
and so on cannot be used.
5.2.1.2.3.7 Set Gateway Timezones: the user clicks this menu to pop up "Set Gateway Timezones" interface
(Refer to: Figure 46 - 47), Note: This function is not enabled yet.

5.2.1.2.3.8 Refresh Gateway Data: The user clicks this menu to pop up a prompt to update the node
information in the gateway, if the update of gateway node information is successful, "Refresh
Gateway Data Success" will be displayed (Refer to: Figure 48 - 49), Note: Only the gateway role
is Inclusion can the update of the gateway node information be successful.

5.2.2 Daily Business Management
5.2.2.1 definition: The user clicks to pop up the "Gateway" interface (Refer to: Figure 50 - 51), the
user can view the UUID of the currently connected gateway and the IP address of the local network,
and click to return to the homepage.

5.2.2.2 Set: The user clicks in the home page, the "Set" interface can pop up, to conduct arming and
disarming (Refer to: Figure 52 - 53).
5.2.2.2.1 Access to arming interface: The user clicks "Arm" or "Disarm" in the "Set" interface to pop up the
"Arm" interface (Refer to: Figure 54).

5.2.2.2.2 Set arming trigger conditions: In the "Arm" interface, the user clicks the icon in the upper
right corner to include Arming (Refer to: Figure 55). The "Set Arm" interface will pop up, and then
the user can select the sensor for arming, click the icon in the upper right corner of the sensor.
(Refer to: Figure 56), to conduct the conditions setting: Set the trigger condition as opening
or closing , and the arming to be conducted after how many times of trigger within the set
time, for example, the trigger condition set by the user is that the arming prompt will be conducted
if the magnetic triggers 1 time within 10s, then click OK for confirmation (Refer to: Figure 57).

5.2.2.2.3 Set the Prompting Mode of Arming: After the user selects a sensor, then clicks "Next" to enter the
arming setting interface (Refer to: Figure 58 - 59): A. Name: Set the name of the arming; B. Type:
Check the trigger mode, and select "Single" for one sensor trigger and "Multiple" for multiple
sensors. C. Arm: Set the arm opening or closing. After, D. arm is triggered, there are three ways to
prompt the user for home being invaded, such as "Send email", "Message Push" and "Alarm"
(temporarily only to open the "Message Push", the other checks are invalid) , for example, if the

user sets Name to "Winka", select Type as "Single", set Arm to "On", and select the prompting way
as “Message Push”, and then click “OK” to confirm (Refer to: Figure 59).

5.2.2.2.4 Arm and disarm: At this point, the arm named as “Winka” will appear in the “Arm” interface,
(Refer to: Figure 60), the trigger condition of the arm is that door magnet will make the arm prompt
after being triggered to open within 10s once, and the prompt way is “Message Push”. If the user
triggers to open the door magnet within 10s, there will be message to be pushed to the user's mobile
phone terminal APP, and “Winka Invasion” will be displayed in the APP interface" (Refer to:
Figure 61), and at the same time, the notification column is displayed in the user's cell phone (Refer
to Figure 62), the user can click to open or close the arm, is arm, is disarm
(Refer to: Figure 63).After the user selects disarm, if the disarm triggering condition is retriggered,
APP will not push the arm message to prompt the user.

5.2.2.2.5 Exclude arm and reedit: In the "Arm" interface, if user exclude or reedit an arm, the user needs to
click the icon on the right side of the arm and press it for 3s (Refer to: Figure 64), under the
interface, two menus of "Edit Arm" and "Exclude Arm" are popped up, and then "Edit Arm" should
be clicked into the "Set arm" interface (Refer to: Figure 65), the user can reedit and set arm. (See
5.2.2.2 Set in 5.2.2 daily affairs management), user clicks the "Exclude Arm" to pop up "Exclude
Arm" prompt interface (Refer to: Figure 66), then click "OK" to exclude the existing arm.

5.2.2.3 alarm: The “Set Alarm” interface can be popped out after the user clicking // on the homepage (Refer
to: Figure 67- 68), the user can set the alarm clock, and the ringing frequency is: “Only Once”, “Every
Day”, “Every Week”; The user clicks on "Ring Tones" to set the ringtone, and the ringtone can be
selected in the mobile phone." Rings Name" is user-defined, and the time of alarm clock is also set by
the user. Then, click "OK", and the alarm setting is completed.

5.2.2.4 quick Device: The "Device" interface can be popped out after the user clicking on the
homepage (Refer to: Figure 69), the green area above the interface shows all the devices included by
the gateway, and the user can view the related devices by sliding to the left or the right on the screen
(Refer to: Figure 70), the device can be individually amplified to display by clicking the icon of the
green area again, which can be operated (Refer to: Figure 71).

5.2.3 Arming and Disarming Management
On the homepage, the user can directly click "Arm" or "Disarm" to enter the "Arm" interface (Refer to:
Figure 72-73), edit and operate the arm or disarm. The specific operation of arm and disarm is shown in
5.2.2 Set on Page 14-16.

5.2.4 Room and Scene Management
5.2.4.1 Room Management: At the upper left corner of the room icon in the middle of the homepage,
the displayed figure indicates the number of all the rooms which have been included, such as “2”
displayed at the upper left corner of Figure 74 room icon , indicating that the gateway has been
included with 2 rooms, and the specific operation contents of room management are shown in 5.5
room management on Page 50-55.
5.2.4.2 Scenario Management: At the upper right corner of the scenario icon in the middle of the
homepage, the displayed figure indicates the number of all the scenarios which have been included,
such as “2” displayed at the upper right corner of Figure 74 scenario icon , indicating that the
gateway has been included with 2 scenarios, and the specific operation contents of scenario
management are shown in 5.4 scenario management on Page 43-50.

5.2.5 Functional Interface Management of Homepage, Device, Scene, Room:
If the user clicks any icon above, he can enter different management interfaces. The selected
management interface icon is green, for example, if the user clicks to enter scene management
interface, the icon will show at this time.
5.2.5.1 The specific operation contents on the homepage are shown in 5.2 APP homepage display content
and functional module profile on Page 4-19.
5.2.5.2 The specific operation contents of the device management interface are shown in 5.3 device
management on Page 19-43.

5.3 Device Management
All the included sensor devices stored in gateway in device interface, such as alarm, socket, door magnet
and so on, the status of all devices are displayed in the interface.
In the device management interface, the user click on the icon at the upper right corner of the
device management interface to include or exclude devices, there are two options of "Include Device" and
"Exclude Device". Figure 75-76).

5.3.1 Devices - Inclusion / Exclusion
Special note: This system defaults to operate according to the encryption equipment process, when the
equipment does not support the encryption or the encryption failure, will use the non
encryption equipment process to include automatically.
5.3.1.1 Include Device: The user clicks on the menu to include the device, but before including the device,
you need to exclude the device first. After the device is successful, include the device.
5.3.1.1.1 Exclude Device: The user first clicks on the "Exclude Device" menu, and it will pop up a 60s
countdown exclude device prompt box (Refer to: Figure 77), at the same time, the buttons on the
included device are quickly pressed three (with three buttons in 1.5s), showing "Exclusion Success"
(Refer to: Figure 78-79).

5.3.1.1.2 Include Device: The user clicks the "Include Device" menu, and it will pop up a 60s countdown
including device prompt box (Refer to: Figure 80). At the same time, the button on the device being
included is pressed down to three (in 1.5s, press three buttons). It displays "Inclusion Success",
indicating that the device will be displayed in the interface when the device is included. Figure
