Rugged Ridge Light Bar Installation guide

97-06 TJ Wrangler Light Bar
1. TJ Light Bar can be installed with or without factory tow hooks. If factory tow hooks are present, they
must be removed before the installation of the Light Bar. NOTE: Installation requires the use of factory tow
hook mounting hardware. If you do not have factory tow hook mounting hardware you will need to source (4)
1/2-13 x 2.5” bolts to use for installation.

2. After removing factory tow hooks, place the
Light Bar on the bumper with the logo facing forward.
Line up the slots in the Light Bar mounting plates with
the bumper mounting holes. Tighten Light Bar into
place using factory torx head bolts.
3. To use factory tow hooks with this light bar,
place tow hooks on top of Light Bar mounting plates.
Be sure to use the correct tow hook for each side of
the vehicle. Tighten Light Bar into place using factory
torx head bolts.
4. You are now ready to install o-road lights (not included). Before driving, be sure the Light Bar and
lights are securly fastened to the vehicle.
