• Pleasereadtheseinstructionscarefullyandretainthemforfuturereference.

• Usethisappliancesolelyinaccordancewiththeseinstructions.

• Thisappliancecanbeusedbychildrenolderthan8yearsandpersonswithreducedphysical,sensory

ormentalcapabilitiesorlackofexperienceandknowledge,butonlyiftheyhavebeengivensupervision

orinstructionconcerninguseoftheapplianceinasafewayandunderstandthehazardsinvolved.

• Childrenshouldbesupervisedtoensurethattheydonotplaywiththeappliance.

• Cleaningand maintenancemust notbe doneby children, exceptif theyare olderthan 8years and

supervised.

• Keeptheapplianceandthecableoutofreachofchildrenunder8years.

• Haveanyrepairscarriedoutsolelybyaqualifiedelectrician.Nevertrytorepairtheapplianceyourself.

• Verifythatthemainsvoltageisthesameasthatindicatedonthetypeplateontheappliancebeforeuse.

• Makesurethesocketintowhichyouplugtheapplianceisearthed.

• Alwaysremovetheplugfromthesocketwhentheapplianceisnotinuse.

• Alwaysremovetheplugfromthewallsocketbypullingontheplug,notthepowercord.

• Checktheappliance’spowercordregularlytomakesureitisnotdamaged.Donotusetheapplianceifthe

powercordisdamaged.Haveadamagedpowercordreplacedbyaqualifiedservicedepartment.

• Certainpartsoftheappliancecanbecomehot.Donottouchthem,asyoumayburnyourself.

• Theapplianceneedsspacetoallowheattoescape,therebypreventingtheriskoffire.Makesurethat

theappliancehassufficientspacearoundit,anddoesnotcomeincontactwithflammablematerial.The

appliancemustnotbecovered.

• Makesurethattheapplianceandthepowercorddonotcomeincontactwithsourcesofheat,suchasa

hothobornakedflame.

• Makesurethattheappliance,thepowercordandplugdonotcomeincontactwithwater.

• Neverleavetheapplianceunsupervisedwhilstitisswitchedon.

• Whenusingyoursteamcleanerneverdirectittowardsyourself,otherpeople,animals,orplants.Thehot

steamcancauseburns.

• Donotusetheapplianceuninterruptedlyfortoolongaperiod.Thisincreasestheriskofanaccident.

• When using the steam cleaner never direct it atwall sockets, electric wiring, or appliances containing

electriccomponents,suchastheinteriorofanoven.

• Alwaysallowaccessoriestocooldownbeforechangingtools.

• Neverholdyourhandinfrontofthesteamnozzle.

• Onlyusethesteamcleanerinuprightposition.

• Neverstandthesteamcleanerdirectlynexttoaheateroroven.

• Neverstandorsitonthesteamcleaner.

• Neverdirectthesteamatonepointfortoolong.

• Do not use the appliance to clean materialsthat are not suitable for steam cleaning, such asleather,

synthetics,upholstery,orwaxedfloors.Whenindoubttestthesteamcleaneronasmallsectionofmaterial

thatisnotreadilyseen.

• Alwaysusecleandrinkingwatertofilltheappliance.Donotuseadditives,suchascleaningagentsor

deodorants.Thiscoulddamagetheappliance.

• Neverusetheappliancewithoutwater.Topupthewaterreservoiringoodtime.Theappliancewillalsoheat

upwithoutwaterinthereservoir.Thiscoulddamagetheappliance.

• Afteryouhaveusedtheapplianceitwillcontinuetoemitsteamforabout10seconds.Thisisnormal,since

thetubestillcontainssomesteam(water)thatwillnowescape.

• Makesureyoudonotbecomecaughtupinthepowercord.

• Makesurethatyourhandsaredrybeforetouchingtheappliance,powercordorplug.

• Neverusetheapplianceinahumidroom.

• Donotpickuptheapplianceifitfallsintowater.Removetheplugfromthewallsocketimmediately.Donot

usetheapplianceanymore.

   Certainpartsoftheappliancemaygethot.

   Donottouchthesepartstopreventburningyourself.

• Cleantheappliancethoroughlyafteruse(see‘Cleaningandmaintenance’).

• Onceyouhavefinishedcleaning,emptyanywaterremaininginthereservoir.

• Neveropenthepressurecapwhileusingthesteamcleaner,becauseitcanbehotandunderpressureon.

OPERATION - Filling the tank with water

1. Disconnecttheplug(15)fromthewallsocket.

2. Unscrewthepressurecap(1)onthewatertank(5)byturningitanticlockwise,andremovethecap.

3. Fillthewatertankwithmaximum220mlwaterwiththehelpofthemeasuringcup(7).Werecommendthat

youusedistilledwatertopreventlimedepositsinthesteamboiler.Theuseofhotwaterreducesthepower

consumption.

4. Fastenthepressurecapbyturningitclockwise.

OPERATION - Fitting the accessories

Accessories10,12and14areplacedbyinsertingthemintotheconnector(2)andthenturningthemaquarter.

Accessories8and9areplacedbypressingthemtotheappliance

The accessoriesget hot when cleaningfor a longtime! Youshould be awareof this, especiallywhen

changingaccessorieswhilecleaning.

OPERATION - Steam cleaning

1. Fillthewatertankwithwater(see‘Fillingthetankwithwater’).

2. Fittheappropriateaccessory(see‘Fittingtheaccessories’).

3. Puttheplugintothewallsocket

4. Theappliancewillheatup(±10minutes),theindicatorlight(6)illuminates.

5. Theapplianceisreadyforuseoncethelightextinguishes.

6. Duringcleaningthesteamcontrollightilluminatesandextinguishesvariable.Thisisnormalbecausethe

appliancefrequentlyheatsupautomaticallyinthemeantime.

7. Pressthesteambutton(3).Steamwillescapeaslongasthesteambuttonispresseddown.Justrelease

thesteambuttontostop.

8. Movetheappliancebackwardsandforwardsovertheobjecttocleanit.Foroptimumresultskeepthecloud

ofsteamclosetothesurface;thiswillofferthesteammostchancetopenetratethedirt.

9. Whenyouhavefinished,puttheappliancedownwherethesteamwillnotcontactanysurfacesandallow

thelaststeamtoescape.

10.Removetheplugfromthewallsocketandallowtheappliancetocooldowncompletely.

OPERATION - Refilling the water tank

Whentheappliancestopssteaming,thewatertankmaybeempty.Nowproceedasfollows:

1. Removetheplugfromthewallsocketandlettheappliancecooldownforatleast5minutes.

2. Pressthesteambuttonanddischargetheremainingsteam.

3. Unscrewthepressurecapandfillwithfreshwater(max.220ml).

Ifyouhavebeenworkingwiththeapplianceuptonow,thewatertankwillstillbehot.Inthiscaseslowly

andcarefullyfillwithwater.Thewatercouldsplashoutofthetank.

4. Fastenthepressurecapbyturningitclockwise.

5. Puttheplugintothewallsocket.Theappliancewillheatup(±10minutes),theindicationlightilluminates.

6. Theapplianceisreadyforuseoncethelightextinguishes.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE - Cleaning

1. Removetheplugfromthewallsocket.

2. Allowtheappliancetocooldowncompletely.

3. Cleantheexterioroftheapplianceandtheaccessorieswithadampclothandalittlewashing-upliquid.

4. Cleanthecleaningclothinawashingmachine(‘Cottons’program,40°C.)

5.Storethehandheldsteamcleaner.

Never immerse the appliance, plug or power cord in water. Never use corrosive or scouring cleaning

agentsorsharpobjects(suchasknivesorhardbrushes)tocleantheappliance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE - Descaling

Whenyoufillthetankwithtapwater,theapplianceshouldregularlybedecalcifiedtoincreasethelifeandthe

functioningofthedevice.Toobtainalongerlifeyoushouldrinsetheappliancewithwaterafteryouusedit

about10times.Fillthetankwithasolutionofwaterandvinegarinaratioof75%water25%vinegar.Donot

usechemicals

Leavethecapopen,andswitchontheapplianceandwaituntilthesolutionbeginstoboil.Turntheappliance

offandwaitfor5-10minutes,pouroutthesolutionandrinse2-3timeswithwater.

1. Nochargeswillbemadeforlabourcostsormaterialsduringthewarrantyperiod.Anyrepairscarriedout

2. Theimporterautomaticallybecomestheownerofanyfaultypartsthathereplacesorafaultyappliance

(intheeventofreplacementoftheappliance).

3. Allclaimssubmittedunderwarrantymustbeaccompaniedbytheoriginalbillofsale.

4. Claimsunderwarrantymustbesubmittedtothedealerwheretheappliancewaspurchasedortothe

5. Thewarrantyisissuedsolelytothefirstpurchaserandcannotbetransferred.

8. Theguaranteedoesnotcoverpowercords,lampsorglassparts.

9. Noclaimscanbesubmittedunderthiswarrantyfordamageotherthantherepairorreplacementoffaulty

parts.Theimportercanneverbeheldresponsibleforanyconsequentiallossordamageoranyother

consequences,resultingeitherdirectlyorindirectlyfromtheappliancesuppliedbytheimporter.

10.In case of claims under guarantee you can contact your dealer where the appliance is purchased.
