Large Refl ector Small Refl ector Bounce Card
The versatile FlashBender Large Refl ector is adaptable for use with on-
camera or off-camera fl ash. It can be used to control and shape your
main, background, hair, rim, or accent lights.
The smaller and lighter FlashBender Small Refl ector is ideally suited for on-
camera fl ash event photography. The Small Refl ector can also be used off-
camera to control and shape your main, background, hair, rim, or accent lights.
The Bounce Card is the smallest, lightest FlashBender and easily stows in
your pocket. When used with on-camera fl ash it creates a larger, softer light
source than a bare fl ash and allows directed bounce off ceilings or walls.
3. Shape Large Refl ector: Use the refl ector’s
positionable rods to manipulate its shape.
Adjust the light refl ected up, forward, or to the
sides by shaping the top or sides of the refl ector.
1. Lock Flash Head Up: Rotate the fl ash head into
its vertical, fully-locked position before attaching
the FlashBender. If the fl ash head will not lock in
the upright position, rotate the fl ash head 180˚ and
angle the fl ash forward.
Non-Locking Flash Heads: Rotate the fl ash head
180 degrees, then attach FlashBender. Use a tilter
or umbrella bracket to tilt the fl ash forward on light
stand.
2. Strap Refl ector to Flash:
Attach the FlashBender to
the fl ash by wrapping the
strap around the fl ash head.
Pull the blue strap through
one of the two buckle
positions and fasten the
hook-and-loop.
3. Shape Small Refl ector:
Use the refl ector’s positionable rods to
manipulate its shape. Adjust the light
refl ected up, forward, or to the sides by
shaping the top or sides of the refl ector.
1. Position Flash Head: Rotate the fl ash
head into its vertical position before
attaching the FlashBender.
4. Roll Refl ector Into a Snoot: Curve the
sides of the FlashBender refl ector into a tube.
Overlap the sides of the refl ector so that the
hook-and-loop strips on the opposite sides
connect. Direct the snooted fl ash to position
the spot of light.
