Column oven installation
Important notes
Important: Make sure to disconnect the oven from the power supply before carrying out any
installation or maintenance work on the appliance.
Installation must be carried out by a qualified technician in compliance with the manufacturer's
instructions and local safety regulations.
After unpacking the oven make sure it was not damaged during transport and that the door closes
properly.
In the event of problems, contact the dealer or your nearest After-Sales Service
Centre
.
After unpacking the oven, leave it on the polystyrene base: this will prevent any damage to the
appliance.
It is advisable to wear protective gloves when installing the appliance.
The oven is provided with two side handles
(B)
to facilitate installation (Fig. 7).
Preparing the housing unit
Kitchen units next to the oven must be heat resistant (min. 80 °C).
Carry out all cabinet cutting work before fitting the appliance in the housing. Ensure you remove all
wood chips and sawdust, which could hinder correct appliance operation.
For installation as shown in Fig. 2, recipients containing liquids must not be placed on the top part of
the column unit. Grilles can be applied to partly close the opening, in any case maintaining a working
area of 100 cm
2
.
The dimensions of housing units are given in figures 1, 2 and 3. Oven dimensions are given in fig. 4.
To ensure adequate ventilation, leave an open space at the back of the housing (observing the
dimensions given in Fig. 6).
After installation, the bottom of the oven must no longer be
accessible
.
Install the oven making sure its walls do not directly touch the adjacent kitchen units (Fig. 5).

For ovens installed under the worktop, leave a gap of at least 5 mm between the top edge of the oven
and the bottom edge of the worktop (fig. 5).
To avoid compromising correct appliance
operation, never obstruct this gap
.
If the kitchen unit is not securely fixed to the wall, it must be anchored with commercially available
brackets
(A)
(Fig. 6).
Electrical connection
Earthing of the appliance is compulsory by law.
The electrical connection of the appliance must be carried out by a qualified electrician, in accordance
with the manufacturer's instructions and local safety regulations.
The installer is responsible for correct electrical connection of the appliance and compliance with the
current local regulations on safety.
The power cable must be long enough for connecting the appliance, fitted in the cabinet, to the power
socket.
For installation to comply with current safety regulations, an all-pole disconnect switch with minimum
contact gap of 3 mm must be utilized.
Do not use multiple adapters or extension leads.
The electrical components must not be accessible after installation.
